My bottle is just labeled "Weisse," but judging from the ratings and the fact it is labeled at 5.5% I’m guessing it’s the same thing. Cloudy yellow, nice head. Aroma is all citrus, lots of lemon and orange. Good malty mouthfeel, maybe a little too fizzy. Taste is full and citrusy with hints of wheat, but not much. Some slightly off bitterness in the finish, but not bad. Aftertaste is just a little dry and alcholic. Not a bad offering at all- why all the low scores guys?

Milky cloudy orange with thick foam like head. Strong banana, clove and citrus aromas draw from the glass. Creamy medium mouthfeel with nice acidity on the finish. Flavors of banana and spice with a underlying citrus back bone. Very nice beer.

Golden brown (cloudy) with thick beige head. Nice balanced banana and some sort of nuts. Nice clean wheat flavor, very quaffable, really well made hefeweizen.

Some kinds of pussies squirt lemon in this beer. This beer has its own taste and needs no help from fruit (its not a friggin a friggin garbage/corona or Anheuser World Select) . If you drink this beer and don’t find it to be phenomenal, you don’t know what a wheat beer is or should be. All in all, this is one of the best wheat beers that money can buy and if you don’t enjoy it, shut your filthy mouth and never talk again.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy golden, HUGE foamy head, decent carbonated, with fairly sticky lacing.   Wheat malts, slight banana & cloves on the nose.   Wheaty body, well rounded mouthfeel, hints of cloves, slightly bready.   Not as heavy as Paulaner, but not as crisp as a Weihenstephaner.   Otherwise, fairly tasty.

Light, attractive honey colour and sweet nose. Thick, white head that dissipates relatively quickly. Smooth, sweetish palate; complex taste, light finish. Fairly heavy carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a cloudy orange colour with a big, white, dimpley head. Aroma is cloves, bubblegum, wheat and hops. Refreshing flavour, wheat and yeast, threatens sourness but doesn’t quite deliver. Slight bitterness. Medium, averagely carbonated mouthfeel. Thirst quenching and very good.

Pours a dirty yellow with a small white head that dissipates to few tiny bubbles quickly. Aroma is hops and wheat with a roasty nose. Flavor is lightly bitter with wheat throughout. Palate is refreshing.

On tap. Color is golden/straw cloudy. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty. Flavor is big yeast/wheat with sourness in the finish. This is a very good hefe.

i really enjoyed this brew, probably because it was in the mix of a saturday swill drinking fest. this one definitly stood out in the crowd of medicore watery brews. it was quite sweet, more then i remember from my past experiences, different hints of fruit. i was impressed and will lean towards making this my choice beer when there is no choice of the good stuff.
