UPDATED: JUN 6, 2009 Bottled. Hazy orange. A bit herbal in the aroma with notes of chewing gum and banana. Clean maltiness and long in flavour. A little dry.

Poured a cloudy golden colour.Aromas of banana, pineapple, and yeasts. The taste is good and refreshing, banana, pineapple and a mild tartness. Excellent summer drinking.

Hazy golden. Nice offwhite head that fades a little too soon. Mild fruity aroma from sweet oranges and pineapples. Flavor is fruity, with some almond and touches of yeast. Some bitterness in the finish, a good weissbier.

Pours with a medium, fugaceous white head. Cloudy golden color with medium carbonation. Nice banana aroma with spices and clove/herbs. Banana, citrus and spices flavor. Crisp mouthfeel. A problem I’ve encountered with this beer is the lack of reglularity, sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s ordinary.

Wonderful orange-gold cloudy body with moderate carbonation and dense foamy head that turns from off-white to white as it fades. Nose is particularly pleasant. It bears fresh notes of orange, banana, spices and herbs. Mouthfeel is gorgeous from A to Z. The carbonated and spicy attack gives some punch and makes you appreciate the fruitiness of the taste and the mildness of the texture afterwards. It ends with a long and relatively bitter final. That one deserves to stand in the top-10 of its category.

As soon as this became available at the Beer Store I sought it out. Became a standard in my fridge for quite a few months. Has a wonderful, light amber, cloudy appearance, good pearl-stringed bubbles and a great creamy head that provides a good cover throughout. The aroma is banana and cut grass. Mouthfeel is crisp and creamy with a nice medium-high carbonation that gives it some pep. First taste gives me cloves cloves cloves with a good bite. Theres a sweet banana start and a mild and subdued hoppy bitter to finish that lingers in the aftertaste. The hopped character becomes more prominent as it warms, but to me, this is a real banana cream. I love it.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2004 Bottle from The Wine Company, Slough. Bottled (500ml). Typical murky orange, with the regulation overactive head. The wheat is there but not horribly dominant, as in others, slightly spicy, fruity (citrus/bannana). A very drinkable hefe.
