Brewed with 60 percent wheat, 40 percent barley - using top fermenting yeast, it is then slowly lagered and remains unfiltered throughout the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2008 [bottle - Great European Beerfest 8, Sharp Edge Tavern - East Liberty, PA] Poured a cloudy orange color with a thin and bubbly white head. Yeast and wheat in the aroma combined with lemon, other citrus and banana. Very nicely balanced taste of wheat, yeast and the citrus. I could definitely taste the barley which gave it a smooth and slightly sweet finish.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy, golden hazy colour - not yellow, darker. Huge fluffy white head. Lots of lemon in the aroma and flavour. Nothing that struck me as incredible, but all the ingredients are there for the style - citrusy flavours and hops, a nice crisp taste but not over carbonated. I really enjoyed it, a great summer beer.

Hazy golden. Nice offwhite head that fades a little too soon. Mild fruity aroma from sweet oranges and pineapples. Flavor is fruity, with some almond and touches of yeast. Some bitterness in the finish, a good weissbier.

Pours with a medium, fugaceous white head. Cloudy golden color with medium carbonation. Nice banana aroma with spices and clove/herbs. Banana, citrus and spices flavor. Crisp mouthfeel. A problem I’ve encountered with this beer is the lack of reglularity, sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s ordinary.

Wonderful orange-gold cloudy body with moderate carbonation and dense foamy head that turns from off-white to white as it fades. Nose is particularly pleasant. It bears fresh notes of orange, banana, spices and herbs. Mouthfeel is gorgeous from A to Z. The carbonated and spicy attack gives some punch and makes you appreciate the fruitiness of the taste and the mildness of the texture afterwards. It ends with a long and relatively bitter final. That one deserves to stand in the top-10 of its category.

Fine bubbly head, golden cloudy color. Light smooth soft malty citrus wheaty yeasty flavours and a bit sweet.
