Sadly, served on tap within a plastic cup. Very nice creamy head that lasted forever. Very bananna and clove. Smooth rich mouthfeel. Would have again for sure.

Pretty much your typical German hefeweizen: cloudy gold in colour, banana and clove aroma, etc. Flavor wise, this is one leans a bit more towards the banana side and just hints at clove and citrus. Not quite as balanced as the Paulaner, but still refreshing and full of flavor. Definitely worth seeking out. Thanks Rastacouere!

Pours a hazy amber with a light white head. Aroma is banana, lemons, spiciness clove (?) yeah definitely clove. Slightly sour aroma, which heightens the attractiveness of all the other smells. Flavor is tart slightly, but sweet, fruity and crisp. Excellent per style, or otherwise. Mouthfeel is adequate. Drinkability is great as this is a good, refreshing, thirst-quenching, but quality brew. When people tell me they want a miller or bud light in the summer because it's refreshing, I have to wonder if they've never experience a refreshing AND flavorful brew such as this one. My top pick for beers with light lunch!

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2006 Comes in a 1/2 liter long neck crown top with best before code and a lush label with some dickens-era geek on it. When the crown was cracked, a noticeable whoosh of natural CO2 escapes The pour produces a delicious looking murky orange-gold liquid capped with a frothy cap that lasts as a lace and ring. Noticeable streaking of effervescence and yeast.. very active in the glass. Odors of citrus and spice and sweet malt...nice ! Starts peppery like a Heffe-weisse then mellows on the palate with a pleasant departure of the malts mingle with the spicy-citrus hop and yeast tastes...then the finish on this one is glorious...you get a spiced-caramel-biscuit taste then a lingering prickly dryness some banana esters but not over powering like in some heffes. This could become a favorite summer beer for me I like the mellowness and maltiness better than the Paulaner Heffe-weisse but the margin is pretty thin....both are fine lively, yeasty-malty. dry wheat ales.

Bottle pours a cloudy straw color with a small head and no lace. The aroma is a clove and banana show. The flavor is quite wheaty, showing some citrus along with the banana and clove notes. The palate is good and refreshing. Overall, this is good.

Nice opaque banana color with huge airy/bubbly head. Almost spicy aroma; yeast is here of course, but there's also the a different fruit flavor, almost cinnamon. Excellent.

Appearance is a cloudy yellowish/orange. Aroma is citrusy. Flavor is slightly sour with some bananas, lemons, and oranges. Bananas are the dominate flavor however. A nice beer but I honestly dont enjoy this style of beer very much. Its alright.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2008 Sample- 500 ML bottle- Poured an off white and thick head. Cloudy yellow body with small amounts of sediment. Aroma was apples/bananas and lemon with lots of clove and yeast. Taste was fruity(banana, lemon) and spicy(clove), quite floral and yeasty. Sweet, tart, refreshing. A great beer all around.
