On tap. Poured a medium, hazy/cloudy orange with a small head. Standard, wheaty and fruity (banana) aroma and tastes. Light bitter finish.

Hazy amber yellow, nice head. Slightly bready aroma. bit of a dusty wheat flavor. Very faint cloves and bananas. Just not enough esters here to get me excited.

Bottle. Just a solid German wheat. Standard banana and clove, tart, sweet to start, but i found it dried out a bit towards the end, wheaty and soft, pretty decent, some lemony tang in there aswell. Similiar to many other German wheats, it has to be said.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2004 Cloudy, tropical fruit tones, and richly aromatic -- not surprising for a german beer.

Bottle. Looks like a hefe. Smells like a heffe. Tastes like heffe. They all taste the same.

A fairly decent beer, smooth, soft head, mellow and honeyed. Not a butch beer. Rich amber color reminicent of autumn, but the flavor lacks autumn spices. Would probably not have this one with a lemon. Would prefer a different beer for multitudinous rounds.

tap at the Bavarian Grille. Golden Hazy rich color. wheaty fruit nose. nice banana and apple in the taste leaves a creamy bitter finish.

A good typical German Hefe, although I would choose others over this. Light citrus, yeast, wheaty. I was not impressed with the aroma.

Beautiful hazy amber. Big frothy head. Fruity, wheaty, yeasty aroma. Smooth feeling with a hint of acidity in my mouth. Notes of orange and clove. Tastes similar to other Hefeweizens. Good joerb Hacker-Pschorr.
