Another German wheat beer with the aftertaste of bananas. Cloudy as hell when enjoyed on tap. Pleasant taste though better when tried in Germany!

Had on tap. Definately one of the best weizens out there. Nice appearance- cloudy yellow and nice white foamy head. Great citrusy/lemmony aroma, with some banana. Awesome flavor- and very complex- not watered down at all. Excellent!

A friend showed up at the frat house one year with a case of this and swore it was the best beer in the world. At the time, we thought we were cool because we drank MGD out of a keg. The aroma and flavor of this beer always brings back that initial shock of tasting something that changed my palate forever. Cloudy yellow with a huge fluffy white head and a very spicey nose. Deep spice flavors of clove and coriander balanced with a fruit sweetness. Very clean, crisp and dry. My absolute favorite Weisse.

Great head, very nice unfiltered colour (golden brown, cloudy). Citrus yeast aroma. No front to the taste, sour/yeast middle, and my favourite, a yeasty/nutty/bread like finish. I was wrong, Denisons is better than this. Otherwise, good, a bit better than Paulaner.

There is so much flavor packed in this perfectly balanced weizen. Lots of clove and light fruit in nose and in flavor profile. Damned fine stuff and drinkable in quantity.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2003 Cloudy orange colour, head is persistant. Mostly yeast, wheat and banana. A bit of wheat acidity, somewhat metallic taste at first but it goes away after a few sips. Whole wheat bread finish.

This is a very good wheat beer, it is extremely balanced. Has almost no hint of lemon, but retains an orange rind taste. Nice head and body, but the finish is short.

Beautiful presentation as it sits in the hefewiezen glass. Huge, pillowy white head with a cloudy amber hue to the liquid. Aromas of yeast, wheat and caraway seeds. Flavor is initially yeasty with a light malt presence, eventually falling into a dominate malt profile with a wheat presence. Finish is mildly citric and somewhere between sticky and somewhat clean. Good, but give me a Maisels.
