Cloudy yellow pour with a very nice head. Yeast, citrus, and wheat spring from the aroma. Well balanced, no lemon needed in this glass. Some banana in the taste as well as some spice. A pretty good Hefe! On tap at the Beer Sellar in Knoxville, TN.

Cloudy yellow, with very nice white head, lasted pretty well. Yeasty nose, some citrus fruit. Nice complex yet refreshing flavour, very well balanced flavours, some banana and lemon. Very nice hefeweizen. Bottle.

The pour revealed a nice light golden colour, very cloudy though since it is unfiltered...Yah? The initial scent was of sugar candy and maybe some maple sugar with a touch of citrus. The head was excellent and thick for most of the beer. In the first taste I could taste the small amount of maple flavour. from what I don't know?! Mild to medium wheat flavour. Very smooth though, even the finish seemed to disappear gradually with no change in taste. Very good, will be having again!

looks like a wheat beer should: light golden color, and a little cloudy. nice foamy head. typical hefeweizen nose of banana and citrus and spice. mild body very smooth, and a semi-dry finish. a great representative of the style!

Very nice. Good cloudy, yellowy-orange color, with a nice nose of bananas and citrus. Very soft and smooth on the palate. Very refreshing.

This was a very nice brew altogether. Nice and wheaty, but a little high on carbonation. Great flavor and palate.

Import Bottle. I've enjoyed this as a draft a few times, so how does a bottle taste after a long journey? Quite the same. I'm enjoying this as a "commuter speacial" (out of the bottle in a brown paper sack on the train). Good spicy weiss smell, actually a tad understated. Cloudy body. Full banana and clove taste, with a hint of lemon. A nice little head works up in the bottle. And a fine, playful effervescence on the tongue. A fine, fine beer.

At the bottom of the 16.9 oz bottle it simply said "Weisse" - the Weisse labels shown in the pics here all have another word in front of the "Weisse", but judging by the descriptions, I think I have the right one. The bartender poured the first 2/3 in a normal fashion... then he put the bottle down on its side, rolled it back and forth, poured more, and repeated that procedure 3 times (in order to mix all of the sediment into the glass (which was a 16.9 oz Franziskaner glass). Golden yellow - Incredible head - down to the last mouthful, there was atleast a half inch head - continuous stream of micro-fine bubbles - wheaty aroma (slightly lemon) - pleasant wheaty taste - very nice indeed

Nice blond wheat beer with a nice head. Very good taste of hweat with a subtle sweet touch. I was very impressed with that brew. It is very simple but very pleasant and well done. A real german mastercraft of a beer.
