2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This was a below average hefe. Aroma is sweet, but you really have to work for it. Taste is very sweet and kind of thin up front, with a weird herbal ending. I can't imagine drinking any kind of quantity of this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy medium golden, huge pillowy white head, mostly lasting and lacing nicelt. Aroma is sweety, malty, lot's of banana and clove to be found. Flavor is crisp, lot's of banana, and a huge punch of clove spice as well. Medium body, very smooth, crisp, good clean finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very cloudy deep orange with amber highlights. The head is large and exceptionally dense. It fades very, very slowly into a rocky layer of white foam atop the beer. Curiously, minimal lacing was left on the glass; the foam seemed to want to stay together. What was left was a thick sheet that slowly sid down to rejoin the rest of the foam. The aroma is clove, banana, and wheat spiciness with just a hint of hops. Sort of standard fare for a wheat, but very well balanced and inviting. The taste is very good, with a nice yeastiness. This bready component is accented by banana and clove flavors. The wheat puts a sharp bite on the finish, and the hops clean the palate. The mouthfeel is full but astringent, giving it a refreshing quality.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty good - had on tap at the Flying Saucer. Small head, slightly thin palate, but a nice biting flavour. Definite spicy aroma and flavour - little banana, clove, and cinnamon.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From 0.5L bottle. The pour in a Blanche de Chambly flute is a beautiful hazy pale golden. The head is impressing. Every one of those millions tiny bubbles is precisely the same size than its neighbor. Intense carbonation keeps feeding it. Stickiness to the glass is exemplary. Truly a beautiful appearance. Aroma is of bananas and citrus. It tastes wheat a lot. Sour bananas, oranges, subtle cloves. More wheat in the aftertaste. A small touch of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mouthfeel is not exactly up to the level of the appearance. Soft and refreshing.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great wheat beer. Pours an almost opaque gold, with a big white head. Great citrus and spice comes through.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2007 Sept 2007. Draft @ Castro’s Lounge in Toronto. Hazy orange body with a lovely creamy white head (4+). Muted, mild aroma is musty and yeasty. Flavour is mild, fairly generic wheat beer flavours with just light yeasty character, muted esters, and mild dry hops and alcohol in the finish. (6+) Average palate. Quaffable but quite a mild take on the style. 6+/4+/7/3/12-13 - 3.3
<P> Sept 2003. Pours cloudy gold with a good size white head that diminished to a smallish white head with nice lacing. Aroma of clove, slightly banana. Bit of banana and esters in the flavour. Not one of the best wheat beers I have had. Have enjoyed this on tap previously much more than this bottle. 5/4/6/3/13 - 3.1

A Well made example of a weiss beer. Banana/Clove aroma. Cloudy apearance from the yeast and good head retention. Good crisp/refreshing malt flavor. High carbonation. Very drinkable.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This brew poured a small head of mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a transparent straw yellow colored body. It had a mild malt hop aroma and a mild bitter mouthfeel. The flavor was one of those typical malted hoped ones.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Citrusy aroma. Nice cloudy honey-coloured wheat beer with beautiful big head that coats the glass as it settles. Some banana flavour present but not much clove. Bitterness appropriate to style. Sparkling effervescent mouthfeel and smooth creamy finish. Not the perfect example of the style but definitely a good example and very drinkable too. Bottle.
