Cloudy, yellow/gold appearance with a large, dense white head and decent lacing. Aroma is right on target for the style, with the yeasty esters front and center. Smooth, palate pleasing texture. Wheaty, yeasty, malty, mildly spiced taste. Well rounded mouthfeel with good carbonation and a long lasting finish. Just about everything you want in a traditional hefe.

(Draught@Sailor’s, Helsinki) Opaque orange with a smallish, quickly fading - although partly lasting - head. Slightly sour-bready, banana-fruity aroma with grassy and spicy hints. Orange-banana-fruity flavor with some sourness. Medium-bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation, leaves some stickiness. A refreshing and reasonably bodied Weizen, but nothing that special.

Keg (Kittys, Helsinki)
Pale hazy orange, tiny head. Orangy citrus and banana aroma, quite subtle. Lively carbonation on the tongue, but feels a tad watery. Big banana taste at first, but that thins to just a few esters with a watery backdrop before long. A bit of toffee too. Pretty OK quaffer, but not full enough to excel.
Rerate: 500ml bottle. Yeasty, otherwise a little dull and flat. Not enough esters or hops. Toffeeness quite high.

(Draught at Kaisla on 2008-07-14) Orange and cloudy. Big white head that disappeared quickly. Banana, malts and hops in nose. Medium palate with quite large amount of carbonation. Banana, bitterness, bit of fruitiness and sweetness in taste. Surpringly bitter aftertaste.

Super nice hefe. Clean wheat flavor with waves of classic banana and clove. Perfect summmer beer.

Bottle dated 07/07. Cloudy orange color with a finger-sized head and yeast sediment floating near the bottom. Nose of mild banana and graham. The flavor was balanced with a muted taste of creamy banana that was more prominent when the beer warmed up a few degrees from the original refridgerator temperature.
