App.: Cloudy orange-golden with a nice white head that sits proud of the glass.
Aroma: Lots of yeast, banana and clove esters, light lemony spiciness.
Palate: Medium body, moderately soft effervescence, slightly syrupy.
Flav.: Another big does of yeast and bread dough, banana esters, light clove and very light lemony spice; off-dry with a clean banana bread finish.

It poured a dark golden with a huge foamy head. It had lots of citrus on the nose, and a classic hefeweizen taste. creamy banana and hints of clove. Had this one in Rothernburg Germany and brought the glass home as a souvenir. Had it with a plate of weinershnitzel with an appetizer of escargot.
