Sour hoppy aroma. Citrusy flavor with mildly spice/clove finish and hint of banana bread. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite good.

Pours a cloudy orange with four fingers of white, lingering head. Sediment in the bottle. Odors of sweet cloves. A very sweet taste, with a hint of citrus and cloves, with a general sense of creaminess. A good, drinkable beer.

The head gets big and stays pretty big. I noticed the clovey taste the most. Slightly citrusy at the beginning but for me it turned very into a strong clove and banana flavor.

Bottle pours a hazy orange. Dense white head. Carbonation is sparse yet head does not settle. Aroma of limes and pine needles. Body is sweet malts and a touch of toffee. Finish is well rounded and smooth. hardly a trace of hop. Citrus bit is only present at first mouthfeel. Malts overtake it but do not dominate. An all day drinker. Tap last night at the Wurstfest in Albany. A solid presentation. I would expect no less from the German-American Club: proper glassware and temperature. No change in rate or score.

Yellow and orange pour lots of bubbles, very little cloudiness and a large white head. Somewhat dusty wheat aroma. flavor is light but very balanced. Not too sweet, a little dry and some banana/clove in the finish. Palate is very nice, pillowy, but the bubbles are a little too strong and fade quick leaving it strangely fluffy. Bumped it up a point of two for being the beer that turned me onto to quality brews in college. Very drinkable.

Definitely another wonderful German style Hefeweizen. Pours a wonderful cloudy, hazy, slightly carbonated copper color. It performs well with nice head retention and good lacing. The flavor is solid with wheat, banana, clove and a slight spicey character blended with a fruity twist. Nicely done

A creamy, smooth, sweet beer with a hint of banana and clove. Rich, golden pour includes a generous head that maintains throughout. Very, very smooth refreshing finish. My favorite hefe.

Pours a very hazy orange with a modest creamy white head and some lacing. Aroma of wheaty sweetness and pale sugar syrup - more sweet than spicy. Taste is to style - very creamy and typically sweet, crisp but subtle hops with a buttery, lightly spiced finish. Very creamy body with good carbonation that settles very quickly. This is a very good Hefe, but it doesn’t exactly jump out at you. Drinkable, but I’ve had much better locally.
