Drinking ice cold, and a few little ice crystals floating g in the glass. Murky light orange appearance and doesn’t smell like much, likely because it’s so cold. A wonderful refreshing flavor shines through however. Tastes of wheat and orange, mild earthy hops. Pleasantly impressed!

On sent principalement les céréales. Rondeur en bouche très agréable.

Amber, heavy white lacing and cloudy. Sweet banana aroma. Sips medium bodied elevated sweetness, wheat flavors are present. Sweetness in the middle and finish..apples, pears, alcohol, yeast. Crispness that compliments, but mostly sweet throughout & in my opinion is cloying. But nice to style authentic brew.

Bottle. Cloudy gold - thick, tight white head. Muted but pleasant banana, bubblegum, clove and orange blossom aromas. Initial wheat dominated sourness, with elements of banana creeping into the mid palate. Weak, hollow end.

This is my favorite German beer. Its smooth, very, very smooth. Tastes of a grand mix of wheat and fruitiness. Its delicious year round. Cheers!

11.2 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy dark amber color. The head is supremely fluffy, eggshell in color, and about two fingers high. Retention is impressive, and lacing is thick but inconsistent. S: This is well hopped for the style. And that I can appreciate. The typical banana and clove notes are a bit muted here, but the healthy serving of noble hops make up for it quite well. T: Now this is more like it. The hops exist merely as a drying mechanism on the back end, helping to cleanse the pleasant sweet cream-meets-banana flavors introduced to the palate. It’s simplistic, but it’s smooth balance means...I kind of want to just drink it instead of review it. M: It’s relatively full bodied and a bit sweet, but that finish really does wonders drying the palate out without going overboard. Carbonation is actually a little subdued, which makes it superb drinkability all the more impressive. O: This is actually one of my favorite styles when done right - and this is definitely done right. In fact, it’s one of those beers where I’m glad I got a six pack instead of a single.
