Excellent nose. Nice fruity spiciness that blends in harmony with the subtle malt character. The flavor is nearly identical to the nose. Simply splendid.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours light yellowish gold, with a thick white head. Aroma of wheat, hay, and citrus. Body is medium, with a decent finish, Interesting brew.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a slightly hazy darkish yellow colour with a large dissipating rocky head. Aroma as anticipated was wheat, yeast, banana and a touch of clove. Clean, gently sweet flavour with more of the same elements of the aroma and some restrained spice and citrus . A very tidy exponent of the genre.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orangey-gold. Small frothy head. Sharp, heavily citrus aroma. Carbonated citrus that disappears a little quickly. A bit of hops and barley at the start, but not really present throughout. Mainly citrus, orange, coriander, and a touch of spice. Missing the banana hint I like to find. Not bad, though it seems a little one (er, two?) dimensional for my taste in hefeweizens. Pretty disappointing to me.

Poured into a hazy golden brown beer with somewhat of a thick head. Aromas a yeast and wheat were prominent. The initial flavor was excellent with refreshing orange zest taste. The ending is a little disaapointing though, lack taste and bitterness.

Bottle: A very solid hefeweizen. Pours a proper cloudy amber with no head. Arouma is yeasty and bready. Taste is cinnamon spice sweet and malty, with a light bitter finish. Light body. I never taste the banana esters in these hefeweizen that everyone seems to find, but maybe that’s just me.

A nice brew with strong flavors characteristic of the yeast involved. Good stuff.
