50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 12.04.2011
Aroma is fresh with banana, wheat and some bubblegum. Flavour is refreshing. It has some banana, bubblegum, wheat and yeast notes. Good and typical weizen, but slightly too flat and straightforward.

This is a pretty standard hefe--not that that’s a bad thing, esp. on this warm March afternoon. It’s cloudy orange w/ a medium size and long lasting head of fine white bubbles. Nose has some bright clovey spicy notes and a deeper banana character. Taste is in about the same range but w/ more focus on spice and perhaps a slightly over-strong bitterness in the finish. The nice, creamy but light texture does make this one drink quite nicely though. Right about now, I’m into it.

On tap @ Salty’s. Pour is hazy orange-gold with a white head. Aroma shows wheat, banana, clove, and light citrus. Flavor is bready and slightly spicy. Overall body is moderate, soft, and finishes lightly bitter.

The Beer Store, Toronto 500ml ($3.50ish): Although I had this beer a while ago, it was under conditions that did not let me really taste or remember it, so here it goes again. Pours a golden color that is slightly hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is excellent. It is a combination of banana, wheat, spice, and fruitiness. Taste is perfectly balanced. Mouthfeel is ridiculously smooth and creamy. Slight tingling sensation takes place on your tounge. It is sweet, but not as sweet as some other Hefes. Overall, top-notch wheat beer. I’m glad i decided to try it again.

One of my favs drank this back in the late 80s in Chicago. Still tastes great. Nice head going for it lacing around the glass, Cloudy appearance. Smoky flavor, clove, bannana perhaps.Always a favorite. The best Weisse I have had and I tried quite a few back in the day. So good it makes you want to have another which back in the day I did as well.

Bottle. Forgive me, but my memory may be a little off due to the 7 of them i drank last night. Big white head that lasts throughout. So cloudy that you can’t see your fingers through the glass. Smells of banana, as everybody else has been saying. Little more to the taste than the aroma suggested, which was a lot. By this, I mean that I was reminded of banana bread, which may not seem like a big difference but it was a pleasant surprise. Top notch Hefe-weisen.

Currently drinking while typing. A lovely prominent aroma after pouring this beer, instantly you are hit with banana, sweet yoghurt, wheat, apricot, toffee apples, vanilla and a gentle booze note. Pours nicely with a well sustained creamy white head and a murky orangey brown vessel underneath it. Tastes amazing, full of wheat, barley, banana, cereals, apricot, subtle citrus initially which fades into ice-creams and eventually a light hop taste in the back of the clean short lived aftertaste. A clean fresh palate, thin but creamy feel with a medium body and a gentle but adequate carbonation. Really good German Hefeweizen, possibly among my favourite of the style so far, though I still have a LOT more of them to try. Definitely worth seeking out, especially for a hot summers day!

Somehow havent rated this..my got to work shift session beer. Quite murky orange tan. Big, steady, creamy head. Perfect banana clove aroma. Mellow light to medium bodied, very refreshing and sessionable. No real bitterness or hop balance, some clove. Fresh, doughy, well done. Straightforward, down the middle, a little more depth than typical though. Quality.

This is from memory but I’ve had it a few times, so here goes. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is of cloves, nutmeg, orange and banana. More of that spiciness in the taste, as well as some of the banana and a nice bit of hops. Medium bodied but never heavy. This is one of my standbys.
