jkoch (41), USA Aug 1, 2007 500 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of spices and banana. Taste is clove, yeast, and a bit of banana. I taste more clove and less banana in this beer than other German hefeweizens. Great beer! bhensonb (4188), Woodland, California, USA Jul 24, 2007 50 cL bottle as Weisse. Good old Deutshce banane aroma. God bless the Bavarians. Hazy peach color. Substantial white head that leaves lacy tatters. A bit thin bodied. Not so much banana as expected. Very clean. Near creamy. Banana in the finish. Light notes of spice as well. Virtually no bitter. Really refreshing. dyetube (397), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 24, 2007 This beer pours a cloudy yellow with a large white head leaving some good lacing down the sides. This has got to be one of the best weißbier’s I’ve ever had! The banana and zest lemony aroma, with a nice mouthfeel and awesome taste! What a great summer beer! get one of these bad boys and enjoy... Cheers! mistersinalin (367), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Jul 20, 2007 I love a weißbier. This isn’t as good as it was fresh in Munich, but it is a nice summer beer. It has the nice banana/clove flavor that is characteristic and it is widly available. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 19, 2007 Typical hazy yellow weisse color with white head. Compelx aroma of banana, yeast, barley.... Yeast, banana, spices comprise a balanced taste. Not a weisse fan, but a good beer. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil Jul 16, 2007 Biergarten of the Olympiapark, Munique. Weak, watery, nor she seems a german weiss.............................Biergarten do Olympiapark, Munique. Fraca, aguada, nem parece uma weiss alemã. KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada Jul 14, 2007 bottle: Thanks to Lord Beamish for this one. If you like wheat beers with lots of yeasty, bready, fruity flavours than this is for you. It felt like drinking a banana bread loaf, in a good way. The head of this beer is a good indication of its high quality. Loaded in flavour but smooth & quaffable. Something different for a hot day. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jul 13, 2007 The beer cafe. Aroma is super wheaty, banana, clove, spice combo. Taste is similar, loads of banana quite chewy almost.
