Jun 29, 2007 Draft at Black Forest Inn. Unflitered orange/gold with plentiful frothy foam. No complaints, a wonderful beer. Haven’t had a beer this good since my first Leffe draft in London. Fruity (banana more than lemon), spicy (some clove), creamy, wheaty, and refreshing.

Jun 20, 2007 Hazy pale orange with huge white foamy head. Subdued sweet citrus-spice aroma. Flavor is mostly cloves and banana. A bit weak on the flavor, but this may have been an old bottle (looks like some date is "05.06"). Also kinda thin and a bit soapy, and none of the usual clean hefe finish. Otherwise pretty standard though.

Jun 18, 2007 Bottle. Typical hefeweizen - hazy light orange, aroma of banana, spices and wheat. Flavor is wheaty malt and tart, ending dry. Good mouth feel. This one is a little sweeter than others of the style.

Jun 16, 2007 500ml - Aroma of freshly baked wheat bread, clove and a touch of lemon. Pours light orange with a big quickly fading head and great lacing. Flavor is sweet yeast with a slight spicy zing, wheat and barley round it out. Palate is creamy and smooth. While there’s nothing groundbreaking here, it is still a tasty and easy drinking brew on a hot summers day.

Jun 11, 2007 bottle: This one surprised me. Like most wheat beers, this one poured a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Wheat comes through in the aroma. Light tasting and easy to coiffe. Very enjoyable. I will definately be buying this one again soon.

Jun 10, 2007 12 oz bottle. Typical wheat and yeast aromas right out of the bottle. Lots of fruit in the nose as well. Apricot, banana, and lemon being the most dominate. Medium in body with a nice crisp refreshing finish. Not a big fan of the style, but this one is pretty tasty.

Jun 8, 2007 Out of a 16oz bottle. When I poured a sample into a glass, the hue was orange/amber with a cloudy body. The head was quite white and billowy. The aroma reminded me of formaldehyde (spelling?), as is the case with all hefes that I’ve tried. I also noticed a hint of orange blossom as well. The taste was definitely strange but also kind of refreshing. I tasted lots of wheat and some green olives. A very watery natural orange juice flavor soon arrived, and dominated the taste buds. Not bad when cold.
