Hacker-Pschorr (Hefe) Weisse

one of my fav german hefes. a joy to pour with the thick white head, amazing retention, love the BIG roma of banana and esters. flavour is crisp, one of my all time fav summer patio beers.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange-gold with fizzy white head. The aroma is banana, zest, maybe some lemon cookies, and a little bit of butter. The flavor is identical to the aroma, no surprises here. Crisp finish, fruity aftertaste.

Tap. Very full bodied, yeast, wheat and citrus. Even a touch of sweet on the finish. Great combination, and still one of my favorite Hefeweizen.

0.5L bottle from my sister that has “Weisse” and “Traditional Wheat” on the label. Pours classic hazy straw with pillowy bright white head. Aroma of wheat, yeasty banana and sweet sugary candy. Taste starts off smooth with wheat and malts. By midway the banana yeastiness kicks in full force with hints of bubble gum. Tasty refreshing brew that is exceedingly smooth.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange/gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma is bready and full of banana, fruits, and mild clove. Flavor is sweet and full of wheat, banana, and spice that lingers for a while.

Pours a hazy golden yellow, with a about a cm of white creamy froathy head. Freshly poured the beer has a strong aroma of banana, as the beer settles the aroma gains strong notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet, and spicy with notes of banana, the carbonation is good, medium bodied, with a creamy finish. A pretty decent beer.

Bottle actually only says weisse. Pours a nice golden color with low carbonation and a nice think fluffy white head. Greaty wheaty taste that goes down smooth and has a medium finish. Overall very good for a hefeweizen but no hops and a bit watery.
