Another fantastic hefe... I’m beginning to think I’m a tad bit biased towards hefes. This hefe had a strong scent of bananas and grains. A very smooth smell. It was a cloudy/hazy golden color just like a good hefe should be. It had a predominant taste of fruit (mostly lemons/oranges) with subtle hints of spices coming through. Medium body with a creamy, smooth finish. A good hefeweizen. I found it to be much better served with a lemon, as opposed to straight.

Drank in a weizen glass. Nice thick frothy off-white head with a murky dark orange poor. Aromas of corn, lemon, coriander and a very discrete floral finish. Again, little effervescence yet it has a nice light longlasting bitterness. Nice and creamy on the palate with hints of bananas, other tropical fruits and coriander.

STRONG bannana taste immediatetly. Leave a taste of strawberries? or other fruit after the banana. Great weizen definetly of the bubblegum catergory

This is a great hefe. I am on week 2 of my hefeweizen phaze and this has been the best. Aroma was all banana and strong. Pour was a dark hazy gold with a thin white head. Taste was strong and "banana-y", wheat and a nice malt back bone with some bread in there as well. Citrus flavors shoot in and out and make me want to try a million more hefes!

Draught Cloudy orange body with nice size head. Aromais of citrus - orange, yeast. Flavor is sweet dry crisp with slight yeast. Can be a little thin but with a smooth nice carbonation. This was very enjoyable.

Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a large lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, banana and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, light banana and clove with a smooth clovey finish.

Bottle under the name of "Weiss" rather than "Hefe-Weiss." I’m assuming it’s the same thing. This is a very typical German wheat all around, and that’s certainly a good thing. Citric, sweet fruity taste is very refreshing. Quite thick and creamy on the palate. A bit of an acidic metallic aftertaste that I could do without. Overall, a nice beer for sure.

Bottled. Hazy yellow in color with a thick smooth tall white head. Lemon yeast aroma, some citrus, and clove. Creamy yeast flavors, citrus, bannana, light flavors that are smooth with a medium yeasty body. Refreshing beer, not bad on a warm Chicago, 71 degree day in April.
