alagnak (296), Littleton, Colorado, USA Aug 9, 2009 deep yellow/orange - really a dark color for the style. Nose is bready bananas. Flavor is solid - spicy cloves and wheat, some really nice bitterness to finish. Good bordering on very good. pumpmaster (474), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA Aug 9, 2009 12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL for $1.79 Excellent. Damico (162), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 8, 2009 This pours not as cloudy as most wheats, but still maintains a nice hazy sunset color. It has a strong, but pure wheat flavor in the German tradition of weisse beers. Bejaaamin (110), London, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2009 Hazy gold, huge fluffy head that never dies. Nose of bananas, bread, citrus, clove, fresh. very good flavours, not too sweet, not too bitter, same as aroma, balances very nicely. This is a delicious beer. CUJO (339), Brooklyn, New York, USA Aug 8, 2009 Radegast: weizen: My first go at a German Hefe... pours very heavy dirty yellow leaving a thick dry head. The nose is of bananas and cloves, expected. The flavor had more bitters and sourness than I expected, balanced by the usual wheats, bananas and cloves. Nice. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Aug 7, 2009 I really liked this one, perhaps the finest German wheat beer I’ve yet had. From the hazy, almost orange colour, the abundant head, and the complex and intriguing aroma, this can’t wait to be drunk. I found the taste phenominal. So delicate, almost sweet, yet smooth and refreshing. Delicious. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Aug 3, 2009 Clouded mustard gold. No light gets through yet it’s light in body. Nice banana profile. Bit of a spicy kick, with some fruity elements. Not bad but something about this keeps it from excelling.
