Mar 25, 2007 Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a large lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, banana and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, light banana and clove with a smooth clovey finish.

Mar 16, 2007 Bottle under the name of "Weiss" rather than "Hefe-Weiss." I’m assuming it’s the same thing. This is a very typical German wheat all around, and that’s certainly a good thing. Citric, sweet fruity taste is very refreshing. Quite thick and creamy on the palate. A bit of an acidic metallic aftertaste that I could do without. Overall, a nice beer for sure.

Mar 14, 2007 Bottled. Hazy yellow in color with a thick smooth tall white head. Lemon yeast aroma, some citrus, and clove. Creamy yeast flavors, citrus, bannana, light flavors that are smooth with a medium yeasty body. Refreshing beer, not bad on a warm Chicago, 71 degree day in April.

Mar 14, 2007 Really enjoyed this hefeweizen. Has a nice cloudy golden appearance to it. Great citrus flavor and goes down real smooth. After each sip I wanted another, overall a very good beer.

Mar 10, 2007 Called Bräu - Weisse Lacy white head over fully hazy orange beer. Banana, fruitmash, sweet and fruity. A bit drier taste. Still very fruity and a boatload of banana’s. BIt of cloves retronasal, even mint. Medium bodied, wheat slickness. Übliches Hefe

I remember having this beer like 5 years ago for the first time, I fell in love with this beer, soo smooth, tasty, great with everything. And now I can get it just about anywhere... Got to admit this was my first true love (in beers), I thought I loved Killian’s but I was young and inexpierence with good beers.

Mar 6, 2007 Draft. Pours a cloudy, light orange with a nice white head. Aroma of cloves, spices, wheat, and dry citrus. Taste is the same with some fruit and yeast thrown in there as well. This is a solid hefeweizen. It’s nothing amazing but I can see no faults.
