Bottled, fresh citrus and orange aroma, pours with a substantial frothy head and a cloudy bronze hue, quite a thin palate, quite a subtle taste, orange, even a hint of strawberries and a sweet aftertaste, i’m generally not a fan of the hefe weisse style but this one is ok.

poured from a bottle. I liked this beer a lot. Nice creamy head, good lacing. The color is a rich opaque orange (near the top of the glass). Slightly banana and citrus. Very easy to drink. Certainly one of my top hefes.

I consider this beer is something of a classic. It is a widely available, German hefeweizen that is true to style (near as my simple mind can tell) and wonderful. It pours a cloudy tan/yellow with an abundant, fluffy white head with excellent staying power. This beer is frequently served with a slice of some sort of fruit, which I could take or leave. Even without it, it smells light, fruity, slightly malty, and citrusy. Taste is full, slightly sweet, and extremely pleasant. As I said, it is true to style. Mouthfeel is full without being exhausting. I find this beer to be somewhat drinkable, but I probably wouldn’t suck down more than two of these tall beers.

Cloudy golden-yellow body with a large white head. Aroma has the expected wheat and some citrus but less banana than I’m used for the style. I also note a little coriander presence. I don’t smell that often in german weizen. Mouthfeel is pleasant although the body is a bit thin. Wheat presence is moderate but the beer is also surprisingly yeasty. There’s also a nice lemon/lime twist. Overall this felt like a cross between a german weizen and a beligian witbier, and a good one at that. I liked it, a good one from Hacker. If all hackers were that nice I woudn’t need a firewall.

Hazy golden yellow color. Nice white head. Citrus aroma with strong lemon and orange tones. Tates of slight sourness and yeast with a great citrus character. Unique and drinkable. Great Beer.

Pours a hazy orangey golden with consistant off white head. Big banana aroma and loads of yeast. Very creamy body, solid wheat malt with eccentuated fruityness of ripe sweet banana, slight, soft orange citrus character and a big late yeastyness. Extremely drinkable.

On draft. Hazy golden color with small fluffy white head. Grains and spice in the nose. Smooth malty wheat flavor accented by cirtus and cloves, bread and banana in the background. Smooth and somewhat thick mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and easy drinking.

Sampled this beer from the bottle, poured into a glass. A light, but cloudy, amber color with a thick white head and lots of carbonation. Very wheaty taste and aroma, with yeast scents as well. A moderately sweet beer with a slightly bitter after taste. The body and texture were both somewhat thick.
