chadje (129), Pasadena, California, USA Oct 27, 2006 Updated: Sep 13, 2009I had a bottle of Hacker-Pschorr Weisse . I can’t find this exact beer on the site so I will put it here. It was a very good unfiltered wheat beer. One of the better that I have had. Only had one bottle. Will pck up a six pack and try it on tap at the Yard House. A nice sweet flavor with a nice creamy head and lots of it. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 23, 2006 Updated: Jul 11, 2008OK, this label translating thing is getting out of hand. Is Weisse the same as hefe-weisse? Well, if it is, I got a bottle of weisse. Clean fresh aroma. Another good beer by hacker. Just a little cloudy light yellow in my steeer stein. Nice, without added flavors of detectable coriander or citrus. Finish like freshly fallen snow, but just a slight
slushy bitter aftertaste. However, does not linger. brauen (25), Crown Point, Indiana, USA Oct 21, 2006 500ml bottle. Pours cloudy medium orange with white head. Aroma citrus, cloves, and wheat. Taste is very balanced fruity and wheat, with a slightly bitter after taste. Great body for a Hefe. One of my favorite Hefeweizens. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 17, 2006 Updated: Aug 23, 2007Pours a cloudy orange/yellow with a white head. Aroma of cloves, citrus and banana. Similar flavour. Medium bodied with a creamy-like mouthfeel. Very good Hefe. grimreeser (795), Minnesota, USA Oct 14, 2006 Updated: Mar 18, 2008Pours a very cloudy orange with a decent white head. Average hefe aroma, slightly weak, nice flavor and palate. Solid. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2006 Updated: Feb 14, 2007definetly better than the paulaner descent aroma not over powering a hint of lemon.the taste is awsome with loads of wheat, yeast, and a little lemon. i can barely taste any alcohol and always love the unfiltered sediment. i love this wheat beer! VeloVampire (483), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 10, 2006 Updated: Dec 10, 2006500 ml bottle - pours an opaque honey colour with a nice big white head. Aroma somewhat muted, but you get the usual hefeweizen notes - nothing out of the ordinary. The real surprise comes with the first sip; the aroma is misleading because you expect a sort of run-of-the-mill taste, but there’s a great explosion of flavour - the usual hefe stuff, yeast, banana, lemons, some spice, followed by a quick hit of the alcohol - very fresh tasting. Aggressively carbonated, though that faded halfway through the glass. All in all, a very drinkable wheat beer. strings (361), Sydney, Australia Oct 8, 2006 Fairly decent. Full with some unusual sourness. Full-bodied but still easy to drink. Quite refreshing.
