Nice pour, thick white creamy head(good head retention) I smell a bannana aroma. Good crisp clean taste with slight bitterness. A real good Hefe

(bottle) Cloudy orange colour with a big and slowly lacing yellowish foamy head. Sweet and yeasty grainy and fruity (orange, banana) aroma with shy notes of cloves. Sweet flavoured, light to medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty and grainy taste with well-rounded fruity accents; sweet and slightly tart finish with a well-integrated, delicate clovy touch. Pretty balanced and elegant stuff.

Bottle. Shared with Chilethai. Classic Hefe color, flavors, and aromas. I agree with ChileThai that this was a little thin. I usually get this on tap and am much more satisfied. I also like to put a lemon in it for a little extra citrus.

Bottle. Shared with Mild4wild. Pours a hazy yellow with a decent, foamy top hat. Nose is banana and wheat, but very thin and subdued. Flavor is thin and watery, although all the components of a hefeweizen are there. I was disappointed with this one.

Bottle 355 ml from Dominick’s in Geneva on Randall Road. It has a nice murky amber/brown color, typical with most wheat beers. The head was fizzy but did not last particularly long. Nice wheat and banana aroma. The banana flavor is apparent at first but the light citrus notes finish the taste. A very enjoyable wheat beer.

Pours a hazy amber color with a light and persistant white head, lots of fizzies. The nose is ripe with wheat, malt and some straw. Light banana and orange clove notes. The flavor is clean and light with a touch of citrusy acidity and some smooth malt essence. Nice finish and a clean drinking hefeweizen that’s not too chewy in the wheat and yeast department.

Bottle: Cloudy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, bready wheat, and a bit of spice. Flavor is a little lemony and bready, with a bit of spice to back it up.

Pours hazy amber into a weizen glass. Bright white micro head with excellent retention. Clove notes. Upfront spicy clove with a sharp, bitter lasting finish.
