Flavour has notes of banana, honey, wheat and hops. Sweet finish. DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet, bready aromas of pineapple and yeast. The flavor is very full and represents the wheat category well. The sweet orange and pineapple fruitiness compliments the bready yeast flavors very well. The body is full from the wheat but has a nice carbonation. Delicious and refreshing beer. Ryan82SM (236), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Aroma has some banana, sour apple and cloves. Translucent gold with a big creamy head. Flavor had much more clove than expected, sour apples and bananas. Palate was bubbly and slightly lively. A good hefe, but nothing outstanding here. Cirrhosis (615), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 3, 2009 This brew pours a honey brown with a nice thick white head, it’s a touch to dark for a hefe. The sent was of apple, some banana and was very tangy and slightly sour. There was a very pronounced lemon flavor with a touch of banana, the main body of the taste was grassy malts. The beer was tasting noticeably sour and left a sweet after taste. I think might have got a old bottle ( can’t find date on it any where ) I remember this tasting a whole lot better, but it was still drinkable. Savvy1982 (303), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2009 Bottle. Pretty golden yellow color, with a thick white head that quickly dissipates. Classic hefe-weisse armoas of banana, coriander, orange, with some notes of saaz here as well. Also a distinct cornflakes aroma, which I find distacting. Palate is clean and refreshing, with wheat, clove and plenty more bananas. I was hoping for a bit less fruit and a bit more spice from this offering, but over all, a solid effort. MrGGen (225), Italy

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2009 Poured from draft with a very large, frothy, white head. A hazy yellow body with some light cloudy particulate in the beer. Aroma is very bready, lots of wheat, lemon, strong coriander and clove presence with a heavy doughy, sweet yeast presence. Flavor is very full and lasting with wheat, coriander and clove dominating. The flavor is very smooth with a great density for a hefe, long lasting flavor and a creamy feeling. Overall the beer has a very good spicy flavor to it and I prefer it much more from the tap than from the bottle. illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
