Poured from a 500 mL bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with diminishing lacing. Aroma is rich in malts, wheat, and yes, banana. Flavour is citrus, spice, and notes of banana. Overall a pleasant German Hefeweizen perfect for a summer patio.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep caramel colour with a huge fluffy white head. Aromas of banana, hay, spices and bread. Hitting all the right notes for a hefe. Taste is full flavoured - banana bread, honey, with a light pepperiness. Good hefe.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from LCBO. Creamy thick white head, slow dissipation and great lacing. Hefeweizens are some of the most beautiful poured beers and this is no exception. Classic hefe notes and aromas of banana and clove. Great carbonation for the style.

If you enjoy a cloudy, creamy wheat beer, this is definitely one of them. It is a smooth beer with one hell of a kick! Been drinking it for years.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bue en bouteille de 50cl, couleur blanche, belle mousse effervescence bien présente, une bière blanche à l’allemande tout ce qui a de plus basique. Un goût de banane en début de bouche, une continuité sur le côté farine et une explosion sur sur le froment.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy burnished amber pour with a big fluffy off white head, banana and clove aroma, taste is much the same as the aroma, banana, spicy clove, a hint of caramel, light bitterness, and soft carbonation, probably the best hefe I’ve had.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, honey-gold, massive rocky white head with ridiculous retention and lacing. Nose is cloves, banana, bubblegum, fruity, slightly metallic. Mouth is medium bodied, creamy, light sweetness, apricot, malt, banana, white pepper, clove, yeasty spice, grass, toush of tartness and more of that copper penny metallic near finish. Nice.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a hazy orange amber color with a thick and huge with head. The head has good retention, eventually fading to give a moderate level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of wheat and yeast with some strong aromas of banana and citrus. When mixed with some spice notes it produces one nice hefeweizen aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet and bready nature. The sweetness is mainly of an orange citrus nature with the bready nature being of a wheat flavor. As the taste advances more toward the middle, yeasty and spicy flavors come to the tongue. In the end the wheat flavor intensifies and combines with some banana and more orange flavors to leave a quite sweet and pleasant flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the lower then average side in terms of creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is fairly average. These are very appropriate for the style and makes for a quite easy drinking brew.
Overall – Very tasty ad easy drinking. This is a very easy drinking, tasty, affordable and a classic hefenweizen . A nice choice and one to try.
