This is my favorite German beer. Its smooth, very, very smooth. Tastes of a grand mix of wheat and fruitiness. Its delicious year round. Cheers!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A good weisse, but left me wanting. The flavors were all faint. The typical banana, clove, and crispy yeast were all rather understated. Thirst quenching, good, but certainly not the best out there.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a fairly cloudy amber color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose has a lot of wheat to it with just a hint of citrus and a bit of bread underneath. Taste is slightly sweet up front, and has a nice yeasty breadiness to it that makes it smooth and refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Wine Emporium 290315. Pours with a big ice cream head that is thick, looks like shaving cream in a glass. Cloudy yet vibrant orange sunrise colour. Sweet and fruity in the nose with banana and melon coming through. Fills the mouth with a big banana sweetness. Thick bodied with a nice aftertaste. Head takes a while to settle. Great example of the style and I would expect nothing less from a German Hefeweizen breqed in Germany. Classy bottle with a swing top lid.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bready banana, honey, and lemon nose, not like banana bread, but more like good dinner rolls with banana accents. Hazy amber, thick head, good lacing. Traditional bready banana notes, but with a nice presence of honey that isn’t altogether common for the style. Medium body, light carbonation. Exemplary, consistent, accessible, and affordable.
