ARMed (423), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 29, 2007 This is probably my most favorite of all hefe weisse beers. This one has no flaws for me. It has a great wheat flavor without being overly tart or sour. Excellent flavor and body with a clean and simple palate. No overtones oor bas spices exist with this brew.
FlyingSwine (127), Littleton, Colorado, USA Oct 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy gold, with a thin white head. No lacing. Aroma is light with a strong clove profile. A bit of banana and wheat. Flavor is a bit more pronounced with some grapefruit and lemon/lime finish. Palate is a bit fizzy, but heavier than I expected. Overall a very good Hefe. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 30, 2008 Bottle, shared by MissDolle. A hazy, orange beer with a white head. Banana and cloves in the aroma, with grains in the background. The aroma is much the same banana, cloves and grains, but also has a nice bitterness. Medium full, effervescent and dry. Cloves, fruit and bitterness in the finish. A really well-crafted hefeweizen, easy to drink, and refreshing. Cloudy and orange with a nice frothy head up front that sadly and quickly vanished. Aromas of bananas and citrus fruit. Initial impression is full and sweet. Finishes on the bitter side (lemon makes a late appearance).
