Bottled. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, it is a bit thin for a bock - and hence doesn’t kick ass.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear pilsener golden with a tall, handsome, white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Quite a full body with sweetish, malty accents. Alcoholic finish but not in an unpleasant way as with some pale bocks. 130806

Clear golden colour. Not much head. Has a malty aromaand some sweetness. Has a sweet and a little flowery taste and also malty. Just some hints of a bitter aftertaste. Well, not of the best bock beers i have tasted.

Bottle. Clear, a bit pale golden, with a nice, white head leaving lacings. Malty sweetness and some hops in the aroma. Quite fruity-sweet and malty flavor, nicely balanced, but there’s something missing, it’s a bit too weak for a bock. Medium to full body. Sweet, malty and slightly grassy finish. I normally prefer the dunkler bocks, and this one does nothing to change that preferance, yet it is a quite nice one.(070528)

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2007 Bottle, 6.8%. Bonbon aroma and flavour. Clear golden colour. Hayish, grainy flavour. A bit of sewer. Rough, strange bitterness to the aftertaste. Not a good bock.

Bottle shared during Scopey’s 30th. Pours clear very pale yellow with a bubbly white head. The aroma holds cheap cereal, white bread. Big sweet flavor with oily alcohol, honey, cereal, bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, sugary and boozy. So so.

Golden pour with a white head. Sweet malt aroma of bread, toast, and biscuits. Floral hops, spice, yeast, and a touch of grass. The flavor is mostly just sweet and malty. Some grass to go with bread, toast, and biscuit. Light floral hops, spice, and a hint of grass. Minimal bitterness, some yeast, and light fruit esters.

Test vom 1.5.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,11,12,12,-,12 - 11,52

Bottle split at Bropeys thanks to Bropey, 20/06/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is bready, citric peel, straw, light floral notes, vanilla, fruit rinds. Taste comprises bready malt, bitter orange, candied fruit rinds, straw, light melon, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough Bock,
