kappldav123 (842), Markkleeberg, Germany May 10, 2008 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. The beer starts very mild, almost vapid. Finish a little bit spicy and sweet. Interesting.
jkaiser (43), USA Jul 5, 2008 My brother told me I had to try this one. Light bodied, medium bitterness. Pale yellow color. Easy to drink. Not much to scream about.
jasonp (1423), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Crystal clear golden with a white head. Pleasant, grassy nose with fresh grain. Oddly (considering the aroma), the flavor starts with somewhat of a *stale* grain note then herbal, grassy noble hops. Moderately sweet, medium bitterness. The body is light to medium, not too carbonated. Starts out ok, then ends kind of "eh". ekstedt (1694), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 19, 2008 Bottle (50 cl) at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear golden with a medium white head. Hayish fresh straw aroma with some earthy hops. Slightly sweet, low bitterness. Quite OK. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 Pours an absolutely clear, translucent bright golden colour with a medium sized head. Aromas of straw, pear and apples. Particularly grainy. Well balanced, initial taste of malts with a long smooth hop finish. beerguy101 (3409), Newark, California, USA Jun 15, 2008 This helles pours a light straw gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grassy, grainy, with a touch of herbs. A medium bodied Helles. The malts are grassy and a touch herbal. The hops are slightly spicy and a touch herbal. Lively carbonation. Light, crisp and clean taste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
