3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (3042) - GERMANY - OCT 6, 2011
Swing-top, by 03/12. Nose is lightly dusty and sweet with creeping toasted grains and a swirl of caramel. Ruby/brown pour with a hissing but rocky tan head. Taste is mildly bittersweet with a small measure of tart, brown sugar and dulled pitted fruit with low-level toffee and caramel, and good sticky Munich in the smacking medium body. Enough hopping to provide balance. A pleasure.
