MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, - JUL 9, 2007
Bottle, 5.5%. Malty, slightly sewery aroma. Clear golden colour. Very fizzy, unstable white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter and slightly sweet. Turns more malty and then citric. Very full mouthfeel and rough carbonation. Rather ordinary.

Slightly cloudy, yellow body with a thin white head and virtually no lacing. A weak, almost piney aroma. Taste is hoppy that finishes dry with a slight metallic aftertaste. Drinkable, but not refreshing and doesn’t stand out.

Deep gold, small white head. Aroma of muted malt. solid medium sweetness across the tongue. Sticky on the way out, with minimal hop presence. Nice, straight ahead, malt lager

500ml bottle. Poured nice clear gold with moderate head and a little sticky lacing. Aroma is German hops and lager funkiness. Pleasant lager taste, but terribly strong. Body is medium and fitting. Overall, a nice, middle of the road German lager. Rather drinkable.

Light yellow pour, a baby finger of head that laced. Malty, grainy aroma, a bit fruity, fairly clean smelling. Light citrus up front, lighter caramel malt, some breadiness, mildly bitter. Creamy mouthfeel. nothing to get excited about - I prefer cooking with it.

Serving; 330 ml. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a very light yellow with the slightest of haze and a large, stark white head. The nose has a touch of honey, a little grass, and a touch of yeast. The flavor is light with notes of slightly sweet honey, perhaps a touch of fruit, bready yeast, and a bit of bitterness. Light to medium body with slightly lower than average carbonation leading to a short finish. Simple and well brewed. Nice.

Very crisp and refreshing. Excellent aroma. This bottle must be uber fresh. I would recommend to all beer drinkers.

500ml bottle from my local Beer Store of all places. Pours a a bit of a golden yellow, small white head. Some nice tinny cereal malt and hop aromas (both in a good way). Taste is decent if not a little stale - flavourful malty lager over a light body, with some nice bready hops in finish. I am terrible at describing this style of lager, but i do enjoy it quite a bit and this is well done. Just a bit stale, which speaks more to the place I bought it from.

DYCSoccer17 (2787) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 12, 2012
11.2 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Best by 05/2012. The aroma is full of dough and biscuity soft malty character. Light metallic hop character and some mineral notes are also present. Transparent dark-straw colored body with a bubbly off-yellow head that is fairly strong. This beer starts rather undercarbonated, before some mineral-like flavors take over in the middle. Mild biscuit follows, and then a pretty assertive metallic (penny) flavor comes through at the end. Hops seem to have faded, and the carbonation is a little weak on this beer. Was hoping for more.

Aroma of light grain, autumn and slight yeast. Pours amber with a small head but a lingering film. Taste is nice. Grains, slight corn and a good sweet bread. Great helles.
