Clear golden body. Refined malts, balance but not certainly not hopless. Well developed but still quite simple. Could use some rustic elements. Drinks easily, even though the carbo is certainly there, as the style prescribes. I like the simple ending, which works well for the beer. Overal a very pleasant and comfortable drink, which is what it exists for. Certainly not very rich or mind-changing, of course. (50cl flip top bottle)

500ml swing top bottle. Nose and taste is honey sweet malt grains with a low bitterness. Quite light bodied for the ABV with easy drinkability. Appears bright straw yellow with transient white head.

Bottle 50cl, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on dry malt and grassy hops. Aroma is medium sweet, cereal and grain notes, body a bit thin, bitterness at the finish.

Its body has a beautiful bright golden color with lots of visible carbonation and good clarity. On top there is a bright white sudsy head. It quickly fades out and makes only minimal lacing. The aroma has light grainy malt with a very slight hint of citrus and some floral hop notes. The flavor has a crisp pale malt base with mild bittering hops that add some mild floral notes. The finish is very clean with just the slightest bitterness from the hops in the after taste. On the palate the active carbonation tickles the tongue and its light to medium body slides down easily.

Purchased at LCBO. Pours gold, as one would expect, with thick white head. In terms of taste, it’s all about the biscuit. Very drinkable.

Transfer from BA review on 5-5-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a straw-golden color with a huge pure white head. The head has enormous bubbles trapped within and fades over time to give a fair amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma is light overall, but heaviest in bread and an ever so light sugar sweetness. Taste – A sweeter breadiness meets the tongue at first. It taste of some malt and caramel. These sweeter flavors fade as the taste advances giving way to a more of the bready and more biscuity flavor toward the end. It starts sweeter and finishes drier. While it does finish drier, I would overall still consider it a little bit on the sweeter side. Mouthfeel – Slightly lighter body with a medium level of carbonation. Very lager average. Overall – Not a bad beer. Very easy to drink with some sweet and some more crisp characteristics. A good session brew.

Very light and buttery with toasty character. Not bad for something to sip on, but nothing to write home about. Classic golden Munich lager.

Bottle from Rehills Newcastle. Lovely deep golden colour - crisp, refreshing flavour. Not much of a head but a very enjoyable beer all the same
