Appearance: Pours a clear light golden colour with two fingers of white head that quickly dissipate. Aromas: Malt, cereal, bread. Flavours: Cereal, biscuit, malt and straw. Mouthfeel: Light carbonation with a thicker mouthfeel. Overall: I liked this lager and I don’t usually like lagers. It was because this one had a fair bit of flavour and body. The strong grainy/cereal component stood out and I haven’t experienced that with a lot of other lagers.

Well balanced Helles with mildly sweet malts and a pleasant hop bitterness. A slight floral note rounds off the finish.

Tasting at Plonk. Hey look, a lager can have flavour! Slightly sweet, has much more taste than the Aussie lagers. lager’s still not my thing but this is far better than the local Aussie alternatives.

Bottle: gold pour, medium white head. Aroma is grassy, cracker, light lemon. Flavour continues with lemon and grassy hop. Clean biscuit/cracker malt. Low sweetness, low lingering grassy bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden body. Refined malts, balance but not certainly not hopless. Well developed but still quite simple. Could use some rustic elements. Drinks easily, even though the carbo is certainly there, as the style prescribes. I like the simple ending, which works well for the beer. Overal a very pleasant and comfortable drink, which is what it exists for. Certainly not very rich or mind-changing, of course. (50cl flip top bottle)

500ml swing top bottle. Nose and taste is honey sweet malt grains with a low bitterness. Quite light bodied for the ABV with easy drinkability. Appears bright straw yellow with transient white head.
