2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, golden-yellow with a one-inch head. Good carbonation is clearly evident. Mild hop and faint malt aromas. Hop and malt balance is great. Very clean and crisp, but overall flavor is a very weak, even for its style. The mouthfeel is light but suits the style well, I suppose. Not terrible, but not impressive, either.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle from Tallinn. Clear gold colour, large frothy mostly lasting white head, good lacing. Heavily malty aroma of grain, fruit and bread, moderate floral hops and a hint of cloves. Taste is initially moderately sweet and slightly acidic, turning into a moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with a moderately acetic feel. Full body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Quite a robust lager with some interesting malt character but a bit too little hops for my liking, an above average helles certainly.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From bottle at home. Pours brilliantly clear, with a lacy white head. Color is golden yellow and completely transparent. Flavor is dry and malty with balanced continental hop flavor, with sweetness from pilsner malt and a slight skunky undertone. I could see drinking liters of this in a biergarten.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2014 Grainy aroma with a spicy hop note. Super clear gold color with a white head with avg head retention. Flavor is malt forward with spicy hop flavor in the background. Medium body and carbonation. Overall, a classic Munich helles. An excellent session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear straw colour, with a frothy white head and nice lacing. Aroma includes notes of pear, apple, cracker like malts, and is otherwise quite muted. Tasting notes include apple skin, sweet malts, a very clean palate with an ever so slightly peppery finish. This is vastly better than your average macro Lagar!!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
There’s nothing particularly amazing about this lager, but it’s undeniably enjoyable. Crisp, smooth, grainy. It has a smell and taste that reveals corn, but it’s quite refined. Very clean. The hops make a good impression while being rather reserved. Not anywhere close to being one of the best German lagers, but a pretty good one nonetheless.
