3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml swing-top bottle, dated Aug. 2009. Lightly sweet, bready, cereal malts greet the nose, along with touches of grassy, floral, citric hops and mild fruitiness. Cloudy golden in color with a fine layer of sediment and a thin, lasting head. Flavor is very gently bitter and citric to start, turning sweet and fruity, finishing with a hint of spice and mildly grassy, herbal hop flavor. Semi-dry and refreshing palate features gentle but insistent effervescence, coupled with a light-medium body. Excellent drinkability and fairly well balanced. Certainly worth a try for any fan of the style.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. This is my first ever Kellerbier, I must say I really enjoyed the experience! Pours hazy orange. Notes of wheat, bread (pancakes), bakers yeast and apricots. Fruity, apricoty taste with notes of weat, and some citrusy hops. Not as maltdominated as I had expected, but very interesting. Smooth, well balanced and thirst quenching.
