The pleasure of yesteryear
Velvety matte shine – Smooth, full-bodied flavor
Munich Kellerbier Anno 1417 shines with a seductive golden honey color. A beer with a distinctive character: earthy, bold, quaffable and yet refreshingly mild and light. Just like a real Bavarian.

Creamy and effervescent, typical of unfiltered beers, a delightful ticklish mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, honey and plum dominate and emphasize the beer’s malty, spicy flavor. Unmistakable hints of apple and grapefruit bring in a fruity freshness.

Our Munich Kellerbier, a beer like from the good old days when beer was born. After aging four weeks, it is bottled unfiltered, which still preserves all its yeast vitamins and trace elements.

Since 1417, Hacker Pschorr stands for traditional Bavarian brewing. The quality beers of Hacker-Pschorr are all brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law and contain only hops, malt and water. 12.5°

500 mL swingtop bottle. Nice pour. Everything else is solid, but ordinary. Not a style with much complexity, I suppose.

0.5 l bottle from local Billa store, Zagreb. Hazy golden, small frothy white head, poured a lot, diminished quickly. Hay or dry grass, malty background, some fruitiness. Medium to high carbonation, medium body, quite dry and grassy. This aroma is quite overwhelming and not very pleasant. Some sweetness in finish, metallic notes also. Not good for it’s price.

Hazy orange pours with creamy white head that leaves some nice lacing. Smell is malty and a bit grassy. Medium to full body with oily texture. Carbonation is soft yet somewhat tingly. Starts a bit sweet on the tongue but the aftertaste and the overall mouthfeel is slightly bitter. Aroma is malty, grassy, some spices, notes of caramel... Overall, quite pleasant and nicely balanced. Tasty and refreshing.

500ml bottle, a month until best before date. Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma is white bread, grass. Taste is yeast, dough, grain. Feels stale, which is probably due to the way it was stored and it being almost a year old.

Light orange, slightly hazy. Dense and stable head. Mild sweet aroma: honey, chamomille, herbal hints. In the taste, sweet honey base, light caramel, some fruity hints (apple?). A hint of bitterness in the finish, enough to bring balance. Light body, a bit oily. Slight prickly feel on the tongue. Overall this is mild/delicate beer that still feels decently refreshing

Bottle from Trinkgut. The beer is a little hazy golden colored and has a stable white head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is sweet with rich malts notes, hints of caramel and honey and in the background a light spicy bitterness. The taste is light sweet and malty and has some nice notes of fruits and spices and this gives a light bitterness in the end. The finish leaves a light dryness and bitterness.

Uma cerveja boa mas que não tem nada demais. Só vale se for em um preço bem baixo, pois as nacionais comuns não perdem muito pra ela. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
