Very cloudy amber/orange pour with a fairly vigorous off-white head that sticks around admirably. A lot of light grain and soft orange notes on the nose. There’s also a fairly distinct spice note as well. Pretty grainy on the palate as well but not in an entirely unpleasant way. There’s a decent little spiciness as well as a hint of citrus fruit. Nothing eye-popping here but nicely drinkable.

It’s absolutely mad in the glass. A rampant, furious and unrelenting effervescence fuels a good two inches of foam atop a misty, deep amber body. Steadfast the head weaves a wicked lace. Wholemeal bread, fresh baked greets the nose at first with a hint of pumpernickel in there for good breakfasty measure. A touch of honey, Play Doh™, Vaseline™ and paw-paw cream makes it a little muddled and unenticing. And there it is; soft as soft on the palate - where the heck did the carbonation go!? Malty, but soapy, dull, cardboardy and a little yeasty is the profile. Toasted grain, a touch of Münchener Cara comes through giving it a biscuity sweetness, a touch floral and spicy in the rear to save it from being just plain ugh! Wishy washy at best. A disappointing brew. One to taste fresh and re-rate! (50cL, BB 21/03/14, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

2014/03/20 - Pours a translucent orange-straw colour with a creamy white head that quickly dissipates and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is hay, bread dough, honey and apples. Taste is sweet cereal malts and apples, with a mildly bitter and acetic finish. Mouthfeel is medium, with a silky texture and lively carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle into an English pint. Pours a hazy copper orange with minimal head. Grassy, malty nose with a hint of citrus; earthy and yeasty flavour. Tastes like a better than average home brew (no styrofoam! hooray!). Medium body. Pleasant, which was not expected after the pour.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy golden with a medium white head that shows decent retention. Aroma and flavour of doughy pale malts, a touch of marzipan.

500ml bottle from Tallinn. Hazy gold colour with a fair bit of small and tiny particles. Large frothy mostly lasting white head, good lacing. Moderately malty aroma of bread and hay, light floral hops, moderate doughy yeast detectable. Taste is initially sweetish, turning into a moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with a slightly acetic feel. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Quite refreshing and a bit more intresting than the usual bulk lagers, still not too much character.
