Orange color. Hoppy aroma and flavor with a hint of plastic. Somewhat dusty with just a hint of oak and raspberry. maybe the flavor is a bit too clean for a real kellerbier, but the intentions are good.

Bottle. Hazy yellow/orange colour with creamy off white head. Aroma of hoppy flowers, sweet biscuits, vanilla. Well, if aroma is sweet, I can’t say that for flavor, because it’s more or less neutral, maybe a little acidic, while the aftertaste is slightly bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Mid amber gold coloured beer with a frothy white head. Light malty aroma, biscuity and sweet with only a hint of hop. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry malty taste, biscutiy and a slightly fruity flavour followedby a touch of yeastiness. Long, dry finish.

Brown flip-top 0.5 litre bottle, best before Dec 2007, drank July 2007. Poured into a straight sided Berliner Kindl half litre glass. Poured the lot in and watched the sediment cloud the whole glass, the head soon left to leave a rim around the glass with bubbles coming to the surface and exploding. It is a dirty straw colour and doesn’t look too inviting. The aroma was of orange groves and farmyards, maybe I should see a doctor? The taste is of dry cardboard which has been soaked in K9P. The mouthfeel is fizzy and slightly sour in the aftertaste, nothing else. I have had beers from this brewery many times over the years and have tried Kellerbiers (in both Munich and Bamberg) before. This bottle however is just about the worst German beer I have ever tasted. A great pity because I had been looking forward to drinking this beer for some time.

Bottle. Slightly hazy light golden color. Cereal nose, some banana and angel food cake. Sweet sugar. The taste is light, quite sweet. Brioche bread, more banana and light sweet fruitiness. Watery unsubstantial finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall, a really decent beer. Not my bag, though.

Pours a hazy medium gold with a 2 finger off white head. Aroma is full of nice cereal grains, malt sweetness, floral hops, sweet white bread and a light mineral fruitiness. Flavor is more sweet cereal grain, light floral hops, a touch of dusty grain, white bread crust and sweet hay. Body is light with a chalky, yet somewhat creamy feel throughout with a light carbonation. Not bad.

Draught at The Town Crier. Pours a murky yellow-gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma of wheat, a good amount of lemon, a hint of banana, some light sugary sweetness and some light spices. Easy-drinking flavour of wheat, grain and fruit, just a touch sweet and with a short, light bitter finish. Average bodied. This is a nice Summer patio beer, I liked it. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.

Bottle (500ml, Peckhams, Glasgow):
Some corn with a very sweet base to it. There is some nice, light and sweet hops that lingers.
A golden blond colour with good clarity and a thin but bubbly, white head at the top.
A sweet taste, particulary in the finish. There is some corn and a good balance of hops as well. I can also detect a sort of almond like taste at the end.
Smooth, medium body and a very sweet feel on the palate with a touch of bitterness from the malts.

Nice and sweet with good carbonation and made for a nice beer on a Friday evening.

Relatively strong for the alcohol grade, nevertheless, it didn’t dissapoint me at all. Recommend it!
