Chestnut colour with a thin head. A bright, lively caramel front, along with hints of molasses and fresh cracked grains. Sweet, with a fresh malt character and just a little syrupy sweetness. Smooth and soft, an easy uncomplicated dunkel that is fairly satisfying nonetheless.

Bottle. A clear, brown beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Dried fruits, hints of coffee and a touch of dms in the background. Some vegetal notes in the flavor too, with dried fruits and coffee pulling most of the load. Full-bodied, quite dry. Some metallic notes in the end. A decent one, nothing special. 091223
