Bottle. Pours clear, nice golden brown with smooth white head and little carbonation. Neutral aroma with light notes of malt. Taste is sophisticated, calculated malts with hoppy notes. A bit flat and sticky, metallic aftertaste. Above average helles but needs more depth and character. Over-engineered and boring, just like an old Mercedes-Benz.

Bottle from Trinkgut in Kleve. The beer has a light golden color a small white head, CO2 level is good. The beer has a malty aroma with also tones of bread, grass and a little honey. The taste is rather light sweet with a light bitterness in the end. Further, malty and very watery. The finish is fresh and light bitter.

Zarkam (447) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2014
500ml bottle from Gourmondo.de, 5.0% abv, clear gold colour, large frothy mostly lasting white head, good lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and bread with a bit of cookie, light floral hops and a hint of fruitiness. Taste is initally light bittersweet with a hint of acidity, turning into a short mostly sweet finsh with a hint of bitterness, medium body, slick mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Fairly avage helles, looks better than tastes.

In fles van 0.5liter op het oktoberfest. Helder geel met een mooie schuimkop. Drinkt erg makkelijk weg en zit tegen het waterige aan .

Taste comprises much the same, light citric, bready twang, touch of yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok Helles.

Bottle. Clear yellow with a medium sized good lacing white head. Sulphur, citrus, herbal, paper, grain. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium sweet and light/medium bitter. I like the nose, but the flavour is a bit dull and sweet.

Bottle during the IoW Jolly thanks to SlackerMads. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, grassy, hay, straw and dough. The taste is clean, crisp, lemon peel, grainy, creamy, straw and mild spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Clean and rather drinkable.
