"Kellerbier" - unfiltered lagerbeer. It is named after a old lagering cellar at the brewery.

Cloudy pour, little head. Strong flavor at the front then fades with no aftertaste. Slightly citrus taste.

Keg at Paulaner Stuttgart, 08/02/15. Hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malt, light bread, faint citric peel, lemon curd, vanilla. Taste comprises pale malt, bread dough, straw, citric notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of citric zest. Decent enough kellerbier.

500 ml bottle from the Beer store. Lovely unfiltered lager. I’d love to find it fresher but this bottle was solid. Clean malt body and balanced hopping. Worth guzzling.

Cloudy orange with white thin top. There is a lack of taste and aroma for one unfiltered beer. Easy to drink, watery, after taste is not the divine one. The name is like Haagen Dazs, promising some aristocracy, but there is no any nobility in this beer. From 1417, they say, they make beers. So many centuries wasted finally to produce this really ordinary beer!

Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a very slight amber hue. Nice frothy white head with great retention and creamy lacing. Toffee aromas with lots of fruits (oranges, dates), nutty and some dark malts like rye. Biscuit malt taste with light caramel and some decent fruits again. Yeasty mouthfeel, but not too tarty. Quite a good lager that is easy to drink, but has loads of character."

Fruit, coffee, toasted malts. Lightly carbonated, minimal head. Good flavour, had as a draft.

500ml bottle. 06/15. Pours a hazy golden colour, with a tall off-white head which reduced to a ring and left a trace of lacing. Gentle, yeasty, malt aroma of bread, honey, toffee and apple. Light sweetness and bitterness. Fruity yet mineral. Light to medium bodied, smooth, gently carbonated with a little astringency in the finish. Approachable enough and as valid as any IPA or Belgian Tripel, this one’s nice enough but lacks any real wow factor. 6.

Tükörtiszta aranyló szín, kitöltéskor tekintélyes hab keletkezik. Illata malátás és fűszeres. szénsavassága kellemesen belesimul izében a fűszeresség ismét megjelenik.

Swing-top bottle 50cl. (from gourmeo24.com). Cloudy to murky light amber color, large and stable frothy white head, minor lacing; aroma light malty, grain, yeast, apple juice, wet hay, bit basement; taste medium sweet and light bitter, yeasty, fruity; light to medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, very light sour note; no-nonsense kellerbier.

Reviewed on 08/02/15. Bottle, 500ml. A semi cloudy beer with a medium white head and some gas. Aroma is of canned corn, wheat and cider. Taste is bitter with some carbonation and faint astringency. Medium to light bodied. Very drinkable. Aftertaste reminds me of sparkling water that has run out of gas.
