A nice fest beer and it went down way too easy. Which is why I decorated my dads guest room and the Sportheim floor. But the beer was great.

On tap at the Mackenrodt Sportheim. Had with Indutiomarus and Feldwebel. A couple of kegs of this were sent up from Munich just for our Oktoberfest. Pours a yellow color with a good sized white head. Taste is bread, honey and wheat, and some herbal hops. Palate is also nice. This beer is meant to pour fast and go down quick and it does that very well. My head hurts.

From a huge 2 liter bottle at Q-Brick’s Oktoberfest. Slightly dark blonde color. Rich pilsner malt aroma. Ok flavor of malt, grass, and a bit of cardboard. Nice but not all that special. I like their Oktoberfest Marzen much more.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2011 On tap at Oktoberfest 2010; good solid easy drinking beer. I have had this both times I have been to Oktoberfest now and really enjoy it (My favorite beer there). UPDATED - Oktoberfest 2011 on tap. As good as I remember though I would say not the best beer at the fair. I do also prefer the marzen over this

Draught at Rhino, Toronto. Someone really needs to change the Commercial DeScription, as this beer is available in several locations in Toronto and area, often alongside the Marzen, as it was at Rhino. Pale gold color, fine carbonation, light white head. sweet yeasty and lightly grassy aroma is replayed in flavor - very agreeable sweetness in taste, honey, yeast, apple pear and lemon. Hallertauer? hops are grassy and herbal, spring freshness. Round and a little biscuity, I thought it nice.
