| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 13/20 | Sep 7, 2008 A dark brown barely clear lager that pours with a small tan head that disappears in a minute. The aroma is strong barley and rye. The flavor is very malty, grassy and full. The character, however is sharp and bitibg whilst being disagreeable. The finish taste like barley malt syrup from concentrate. This beer does remind you of the fall season though, primarily with its aroma. fluffy (229), Florida, USA

Full-flavored with the right amount of bitterness. Refreshing. The beer I ordered was simply called Hacker-Pschorr lager, so I assume this is the same stuff. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
