COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the beer that they serve only at Oktoberfest. It is NOT sold in North America. It is a much lighter beer than the common Oktoberfest-Marzen.

Bottled. Pours pale to medium amber. White head quickly dissipates. Subtle aroma of overripe fruit. Sweet malt flavor up front with hints of ripe red apple and pear. Nicely balanced with touch of hop bitterness. Slightly dry and earthy finish with a small amount of alcohol. Light bodied, smooth mouthfeel. A pleasing, refreshing beer.

Bottle. Bitterness is the dominant character on this brew, not what I think of with Oktoberfest, but the deep amber color, thin white head, combined with the brown sugar notes and malt undertones reminded me of one. Flavor was bitter and monotone, bubbly, and lively to the palate. It was ok.

Pint on draught at York Tap in 2012. Golden, fizzy, with a good frothy head. Hopped and malt aroma. Tastes bitter, malty with a touch of corned beef. Has substance to it, but not the most exciting of beers. Actually a bit disappointing, especially considering what else the Tap has to offer. But not bad.

Copper with a white head. Both the aroma and flavor are centered around malt. Slight roasted malt character in the finish which is dryer than expected. Classic Oktoberfest!

Low malt aroma, lighter amber color, but darker than the spayed oktoberfest. Low hop taste, malty, toastiness on the finish. Finishes dry, very drinkable and tasty. Would like to have more of these. My favorite German Oktoberfest if the 4 German Oktoberfest beer we sampled at my homebrew club meeting..

Pours a clear gold with a small white top that disappears to a white ring. Aroma is german malts and not that much of a hop profile. Taste is clean, bright, light german characteristics of malt and some noble hops.

Amber yellow colour with a white head. Moderate sweet and hoppy malty aroma. A fin mild and fresh malty + hoppy flavour. Also a fine fruity background

Bottle 50cl, a yellow beer. Nose is on dry grain, aroma is slightly malty, grassy and peppery hops, nutty bottom yeast notes, body is low, finish is dry, metallic notes, long bitterness.

A nice fest beer and it went down way too easy. Which is why I decorated my dads guest room and the Sportheim floor. But the beer was great.
