Orange, small white head. Very malty/caramelly aroma and similar flavor. Too thin but good flavor and decent slightly bitter finish.

Always enjoy fest beers but this seems to be the best I’ve had. Smooth texture with autumnal flavors and finishes sweet. Great fall beer.

Pours clear deep amber with a thin fading beige head. Aroma of caramel, apple, apricot, bready buttery biscuity malt. Taste is sweet and roasty with a good balance. Fuller bodied than most Marzen’s I’ve had. I am not a huge fan of this style but this beer is more complex than most.

Tap @ cloverleaf. Golden pour with white head. Spices, german hops and yeast effects, plus malty flavor notes and aroma, make for a decent beer that is in a word boring.

The beer tastes so smooth and pure in the German tradition. It is slightly sweet and malty with a ruby amber color.

Bottle. Light malt aromas of dark bread and cereal, light herbs for the hops, with toffee, honey and a hint of cola in the background. Head is fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes the same way. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Pretty light all around, but just about everything an Oktoberfest is supposed to be, this is.

carmely hoppy balanced, nothing impressive but nothing bad, straight-forward.

Original Octoberfest Bottle. Pours a dep nutty brown color with a small white head. Nose is light caramel and is bready with a light nut note. Palate is full with a light syrup but not cloying. Flavors or light bready dough notes and some nut hints in the finish.
