| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2010 Pours clear deep amber with a thin fading beige head. Aroma of caramel, apple, apricot, bready buttery biscuity malt. Taste is sweet and roasty with a good balance. Fuller bodied than most Marzen’s I’ve had. I am not a huge fan of this style but this beer is more complex than most. vtafro (639), , New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Bottle. Light malt aromas of dark bread and cereal, light herbs for the hops, with toffee, honey and a hint of cola in the background. Head is fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes the same way. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Pretty light all around, but just about everything an Oktoberfest is supposed to be, this is. Toxygen (419), Sanford, Florida, USA
