jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2007 Bottle. Pours a deep amber body with nice head. Aroma is pleasant, sweet maltiness. Flavor is smooth, sweet malt is dominating the taste, light creaminess to it and a very smooth creamy mouthfeel. The flavor seemed to slowly slide down my tongue. This was quite a surprise. Best Marzen I ever had! kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Octoberfest

LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 31, 2007 An extremely well balanced O/M. One of the best. Aroma pretty strong...sticky malt all the way and nothing else. The appearance was better than that of any O/M that I’ve had. Big 2 finger off white head and a nice dark amber color. Taste was very pure....fizzy malt and decent carbonation. Not too extreme and mellow in the flavor category which can be good. I was expecting a mind blower and got a very good. Still came out OK as far as I’m concerned. Hansen (2235), Randers, Denmark Aug 25, 2007 Golden-brown color and clear. Has an off-white head, huge and lasting. Aroma is mostly sweet, caramel. Flavor is heavy sweet. FInish is lightly bitter. Syrup texture. JamesD (192), Centreville, Virginia, USA Aug 19, 2007 A nice beer. Pours a dark brown with a nice toffee aroma. The flavor is a delicious malty and caramel combination. A very good seasonal beer, especially for its price. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA Aug 18, 2007 Tap. Poured dark gold with off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and toffee. Nice sweet caramel flavor with some hops. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Aug 13, 2007 Toffee/caramel/malt, and not much else...which is a good thing IMHO for a Marzen. Orange color with thick, fluffy head from a bottle. joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 11, 2007 reddish brown appearance witha strong malty nose. flavor is sweet and nutty but has little complexiity and an average beer
