fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Jan 28, 2007 Bottle. Clear light amber (copper) color with a small to average fair lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffe. honey ? and some notes of alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet, and ligth to moderate bitter. Body is ligth to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metalic. duffman462 (160), Gainesville, Florida, USA Jan 24, 2007 Light amber color, sweet aroma with hints of caramel and toasty malt. Body is malty, with caramel, mild bitterness, and a hint of herbs. Not bad. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA Dec 26, 2006 Apparently this IS the beer sold in North America. Gold pour, big white head, lots of malt and mustiness in the aroma. Good, clean taste of sweet malt and sugary caramel. Decent. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Dec 6, 2006 Pours straight amber-orange..good sized head for the pour, leaves some good lacing!...smells atad dusty, and some strange caramel too....what a simple taste, crap honestly, for a german oktoberfest..never again. surf1284 (91), USA Dec 3, 2006 Updated: Dec 5, 2006If anything this beer should have had more hops. It was a little weak to me. It was a dark orange with a brown head. Most prevalent taste is the roasted malts you taste at the end. Derek881 (489), Frederick, Maryland, USA Nov 17, 2006 Sampled by the bottle during early Oc(k)tober days. The caramel aroma was fruity and sweet. It had a dark orange/brown color with a light tan head that was gone quickly. There was ample carbonation with a medium body, and the beer had a sweet and bitter finish. swanmann (304), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Nov 14, 2006 Wife picked a beauty. It poured hazy chestnut with a lite tan, pearlescent dissipating head. Spicy aroma, gingerbread with a hint of oranges. The flavor is sweet, roasted malts, slightlybitter, cinnamon. Smooth, full mouthfeel with adequate carbonation. Lush and flavorful. TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 1, 2006 Pours a translucent golden/orange amber with a creamy off white head. Aroma was sweet and malty, some corn, dough, graines and cereal. Nutty with hints of caramel malt as well. Flavor was very clean and crisp, yet with lots of flavor. Grains, malty, hints of sweetness. Some caramel, toffee and nuts. This is how an Marzen should be!
