milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 4, 2006 Fine Oktoberfest with a perfect blend of malt and hops. My second favorite Oktoberfest to Spaten, which I find a bit drier. kseecs16 (865), Naperville, Illinois, USA Oct 2, 2006 Bottle. Poured with a big ole’ head that dissipated rapidly atop this clear copper brew. Strong malt scent with some rich earthy grassy notes from the hops. Exceptinally well balance with a rich body and a touch of clove in the flavor. Finishes with crisp ho bitterness. A very nice Oktoberfest. Copper brown, small white head. Malty, some toasted bread and caramel in the nose. Rye-malty, medium-bodied with sweetish finish. Caramelly malty aftertaste. Solid oktoberfestbeer. oh6gdx (8801), Vasa, Finland Oct 2, 2006 Draught. Amber colour, big beige head. Aroma of Märzen a a bit caramel. Same In flavour. Not that exciting but it is a very clean and welldone Oktoberfestbrew. grimreeser (795), Minnesota, USA Sep 29, 2006 Pours amber with a small head. Caramel aroma, some floral hops, could be stronger. Nice flavor, some bitterness. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia Sep 29, 2006 Pours clear darkish golden with a small white head. Malty caramel aroma with also some grain and flowery hops. the flavour is quite similar, with caramel, grain and flowery hops running the show. The bitterness is quite high for the style, and the finish is grainy and medium length. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 29, 2006 Pours Amber with good head retention. Good caramel flavor and some roasted malts. Not my favorite Oct fest but a good one.
