Bottle, BevMo La Mesa. Pours a very dark amber color. Sweet cereal aroma with some maltiness. Toasty flavor. Some bitterness. Has some of the same grainy qualities as cereal.

Solid Marzen offering. I love this type of brew. Medium-light body offers hours of enjoyment through numerous ’fests. Great hops all around and strong finish.

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized, slowly lacing, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet malty, toasted bread aroma with faint hints of herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light body with a crispy carbonation. Toasted malty taste, bready with light herbal notes, rather dry, moderately bitter and toasty finish with hints of liquorice. Well-balanced and easy-going session-Märzen.

[Draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden] Deep red-amber colour with good head. Big caramelly, concentrated, clean aroma. Long boil feel here. Very malty feel to it. Bit candy-ish in flavour, with toffee and milk chocolate. Not the regular Märzen-prickly feeling but tasty!

Very nice ruby body with a thick ivory head. Enjoyed at Capital Ale House’s Oktoberfest.. Lightly fruity with some nice malt and hop backbone. Very enjoyable and drinkable in large quantities.

Sweet welcoming of caramel malt and sugar found in the aroma. Color is a crystal clear see through orange and fizzy film on top. Marzen is carbonated well enough and has a easy going palate that makes this an very quaffable beer. Some signs of sweetness in the flavor but overall the flavor is subdued and subtle.

Clear, orange to amber body. Aroma of hops, soap, not very interesting and rather bad. Moderately bitter flavour. Quite soapy. Didn’t like this at all.

On tap at Mahars. Best beer of the night. Poured a great ruby red, with a beautiful crowning white head. Aroma is very spicy and sweet. Flavor was sweet, and very spicy, tasted like a good octoberfest should.
