maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 10, 2006 Clear light amber body with a thin tan head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some light hop hints. calivania (62), USA Sep 9, 2006 To truly appriciate this beer, you kind of need a salty first full sausage or some other saline rich foods. It is beacuse there is such a precise balance hiding behind those sweet malts up front. Nothing is pushed forward with out an equally forceful counter step, whther it is the dry body that follows the caramal sweet nose, or the strong finishing note following the surprisingly light-footed body. I wonder why the American craft versions rate higher than this precisely crafted version. They show off more I guess. This is a beer on a lie detector: nothing but the truth. JoshuaB (422), Detroit, Michigan, USA Sep 8, 2006 This sheet be dank my homies. Yum yum. Hallertau owns. Pretty malty caramelly goodness. I love the fall. HopBackDoc (393), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2006 Deep amber/copper color. Aroma of malts, caramel. Full flavored beer with an earthy roasted malt taste balanced by a mild hop addition in the finish. Good Oktoberfest beer. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA Sep 1, 2006 I remember drinking these at Oktoberfest last year. Goes great with salty rotisory chicken by the way. Amber, orange in color. caramael malty aroma with a good balance of hops and a slight raisin taste. A real fine crafted brew. Quixote18 (230), Johnson City, Tennessee, USA Aug 30, 2006 Bottled. Yummy caramel malts in both the aroma and flavor and a nice finish of some sort of continental hops. Visually nice, with a medium lasting off-white head on top of a clear, pale copper body. Nothing too complex, but a very enjoyable brew when all the elements are put together. thewolf (5662), Kolding, Denmark Aug 27, 2006 Dark golden colour. Mildly malty with some hay in the aroma. Slightly bitter taste. henrikb (1298), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 26, 2006 Amber body, beautiful white head, leaving laces; Balanced, pleasant nose; Quite bitter body, a little sweet; Long bitter finish.
