| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2005 This was actually pretty good, although it was on the light side. Pours a bright light orange with a nice head and good lace. Aroma is bready with malt, some sweet and caramel, and light nutty malt. Flavor is on the light side but very balanced. Good amount of light munich malts and some breaty hints with light hop bitterness. Really nice oktoberfest. Earlier Rating: 11/19/2002 Total Score: 3.8 Had on tap. Really good oktoberfest- probably one of my favorites in the style- Nice color and good head. All around good taste, and nice aftertaste. chriso (4728), London, Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Bottle at St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Attractive burnished bronze colour. I found this to be drier and less malty than the norm for this style and, consequently, relatively crisp and easy drinking. I’m not really a big fan of heavily malty lagers, so I actually enjoyed this more than I would have had it been more strictly to style.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Bottle (this beer is not served at Munich’s Oktoberfest !): Amber coloured, small off-white head, quickly vanishing; grainy, slightly malty nose with a nutty touch; faint, sweet malty start, mild bitter flavour, ending in a quite dry, bitter-malty finish with a metallic touch. Drinkable, but really not impressive ! jujubeast6000 (777), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 15, 2005 A moderate malty nut aroma, toasted and a little sour. Appearence is nice, golden brown with an average off-white head with quickly dimished almost completely, small bubbles. A slightly sweet, slightly bitter taste that has something I don’t like. Average palate, a little watery. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands

Nothing fancy, just a tasty beer that goes GREAT together with steak. Will definitely get again.
