KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Sep 17, 2009 Pours a nice clear light amber with a thin white head. Aroma was a little sweet, a little malty with some light hop notes. Flavor was similar. Easy drinker, nothing spectacular. BiddleBrau (303), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2009 poured a nice amber and clear with short lasting off-white head. Caramel malt nose. Full on the tongue although carbonation also leaves an impression, sweet but with a bit of hop bitterness to balance. Nothing great but a clean tasting clean finishing brew. Something you could kick back and drink while chatting with friends. Enjoyit (1697), Vadum, Denmark Sep 15, 2009 Clear amber of color with a white head. An aroma of malt and toffee. A flavor of malt, sweets, toffee and weak bitterness. scottw86 (180), Maryland, USA Sep 12, 2009 Poured a metallic brown with a medium white foamy head. Nice malty aroma with hints of yeast, wheat, and a little citrus. Slightly watery, but some good caramel malt flavors. Not as much wheat as in the aroma, but sweeter. Too much carbonation. Finish is slightly metallic. Overall decent, but too watery and the finish isn’t too great. Cirrhosis (610), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Sep 11, 2009 Beer courtesy of my new neighbor, thanks mang. Beer seems crystal clear brownish orange with minimal head and what was there did not last long. Aroma is malty with some spice very light and crisp. Dry light flavour with mildly bitter caramel malts, grass, elements of orange and pepper. Very easy drinking BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA Sep 10, 2009 What a great reprisentation. This beer has got to have the strongest malt aroma I have ever put my nose in. Wow. freaken love it. wkalle (110), Sweden Sep 9, 2009 Pours copper brown with small quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramell and prunes. Flavor is all bread and caramell. A nice bitter finish but it felt as if the body was a bit too thin. jcr (1137), Jasper, Indiana, USA Sep 7, 2009 Bottle. Clear amber body. Fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is strongly malty and candy-like — caramel, toasted bread. Hints of flowers and honey and sugar. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Nice sweet caramel first sip. Medium body, very watery texture and lively carbonation (nice fizzy finish). This is easy drinking (deceptive for almost 6% alcohol) though a little more hop presence in the finish would help the balance. Enjoyable.
