Sark ornage body with a creamy, thick head. The aroma is toffee, oranges and some light tobacco. The taste is rather dry with oranges and some light caramel. There is also a toasty note of almonds. Finishes with a little bit of dry wheat. A decent oktoberfest, but I am guessing it is nicer when fresh.

Great example of the style! Great color, nice head, fine balance! I always anticipate the Fall season with several of these at hand! A solid choice!

Pours amber with a small white head. Smells of yogurt, toffee and sugar. Tastes of brown sugar and spicey with a decent bittering finish.

Clear orange/amber with a very short tan head. Aroma picked up sweet caramel and toffee malts as well as roasted barley. Very inviting nose for the style, just wish it was a little stronger. Flavor picked up everything from the nose as well as some subtle spices, and the malt backbone worked very well on the palate. Medium-bodied. Finish was sweet and roasty. Very fine oktoberfest.

Pours amber with a small tan head. Aroma is very malty, with hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is very malty, with hints of caramel and toffee. Only a decent example of an Oktoberfest, and too expensive to megasession.

Pours clear orange with small tan head. Toasty caramel aroma. Flavor is sweet with nice malty flavors, caramel and molasses. Nice hop finish. A bit of a sugary aftertaste. Pretty good except the aftertaste.

Bottled. Nice amber colour with a big slightly off-white head. Caramelly, malty aroma with a little hoppiness. Malty, caramelly, medium sweet with hops coming through in the finish. Fairly balanced, though leaning maybe a bit more towards maltiness. Mediumbodied with a good mouthfeel. Good one, though this style is not particularly my favourite.
