Jun 10, 2005 Pours a light reddish color. Very nice lacing. Taste is roasted barley and carmel malts. A bit watery and thin in the finish.

May 30, 2005 Decent, with nice amber color and full hed from the tap. Hops nose and taste are nice, but not too strong. Overall very drinkable but not very exciting.

Apr 3, 2005 This beer pours a clear amber color with an active carbonation tornado in the center of my glass. The head was thin and soapy with a thin white layer of lacing left on the side of my glass. The aroma is was citrusy, malty and somewhat apple juice-like. Hints of apricot and candy sugar in the nose. The flavor is medium bodied, mildly carbonated, and filled with apricot sweetnesses and malt. Some lingering malt in the aftertaste...not so dry but definitely carbonated. Not as syrupy as other marzen’s i have tried, so that was definitely a plus. Really sweet, not so cloying though, aftertaste...very pleasing, too bad it lacked character in mid taste.

Apr 3, 2005 Pours clear golden with a thin off-white head. Nose is very malty. The flavor is sweet, yeasty, and the overwhelming flavor is biscuit-sweet, English biscuit. Small vanilla flavors, creamy mouthfeel, nice taste. Good.

Mar 22, 2005 This bottled brew with a flippy top poured a small sized head of foamy off-white colored mostly lasting fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent but slightly hazy dark orange brown colored body. The aroma was mild with a malty slightly fruity note. The mouth feel was smooth initially and finished with a mild tingle. It had a malt hop bite and a sweet lagerish malty flavor.

Mar 12, 2005 Bright orange with a lofty, rocky white head, this brew wreaks of wort-like malts as soon as the cap is popped. Creamy, sweet caramel malts explode in your mouth as you enjoy the rich flavors. Why I’m drinking this delicious Oktoberfest in March, I’m not sure, but I’m enjoying it... despite the sticky finish that seems to have covered my moustache, fingers, beard......

Mar 8, 2005 Darkish brown beer with a thick, malty and wheatish aroma. The flavour is quite bitter and smooth with a floury finish. Overall a really good beer.
