Sep 7, 2009 Bottle. Clear amber body. Fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is strongly malty and candy-like — caramel, toasted bread. Hints of flowers and honey and sugar. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Nice sweet caramel first sip. Medium body, very watery texture and lively carbonation (nice fizzy finish). This is easy drinking (deceptive for almost 6% alcohol) though a little more hop presence in the finish would help the balance. Enjoyable.

Aug 27, 2009 Mély borostyán sárga színe,fehér hamar eltűnő vékony habja van.Illata picit karamellás,finom malátás.Az íz központjában is a maláta és annak édessége van egy kis fűszeres aromával.Aztán belép a komló is a maga kellemes kesernyésségével ami az utóízben is bőven ott van.Érezni az alkohol melegségét is rajta.Remek társasági ital.

Aug 23, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. bottle.
Appearance: Nice deep amber color with a good sized, foamy, white head. Decent head retention.
Aroma: Caramel malt, light biscuit notes, a bit of dustiness, and a wee bit of grassy hops.
Taste: Nice caramel malt sweetness up front, some grain notes, and a pleasant mix of biscuit and light hop bitterness. A good showcase for the malt.
Palate: Medium, slightly prickly carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium, slightly bitter finish.
Overall: Simple and well done. A good example of the style.
Rebuy: Perhaps. You certainly won’t be disappointed by this.

Aug 20, 2009 12fl oz bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Amber-brown with one finger off-white head. Aroma is oakey with notes of dark fruit. Flavor is basically the same. Medium carbonation. Lightly bitter finish. Good brew.

Jul 14, 2009 This one poured a frothy tan, two-fingered head along with a clear, dark amber body. The aroma was "interesting"; I could detect oranges, but little else. The taste was just "different", hard to describe, but the longer it sat in the glass, the more the spices emereged and the better it tasted. Mouthfeel was a bit thin, but the aftertaste was quite acceptable. All in all, enjoyable and worthy of a second helping.

Taste: Lots of malt, nice hops. Some caramel. Nothing special.
