Bottle. Pours a deep copper brown, not much head or lacing. Nose is pissy wet cardboard and malt. Thankfully tastes much better than it smells. Medium bodied, malty, nutty, caramel and autumn leaves. I could drink a pitcher of this and chow down a platter full of weisswurst with it. Prost!

This is probably my favorite Oktoberfest beer out of Germany. Terrific clarity, light body, sweet and malty aroma and taste. A bit "bready" taste with a very smooth finish. This is the beer other Oktoberfests need to be compared to. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear chestnut brown pour with massive fluffy white head, bready malt aroma, quite sweet taste doughy malts, nutty and caramel.

Tap at a Milwaukee Oktoberfest. Copper pour with white head. Smells of malt, slight hops and bread. Tastes a little sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours brown amber as clear, almost bronze like Asian tea. Head is off-white and quick to skate, but leaves some good lacing. Aroma is very mild malt, yeast, toasted nut and earth tones. Taste is smooth - mildly caramel sweet malt that is pretty well-balanced with noble hops. Moderately carbonated and with a steady Munich hop-bitter aftertaste. Very solid for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is bready and sweet with slight roast. Light copper color. Very clear with little to no head. Sweetness carries through to taste. Carmel, nut and light roast in after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There’s a light malty grainy aroma that’s barely noticeable. The color is dark amber with a minimal off-white head and almost no lacing. A moderate amount of bitterness stays on the tongue for a while. The texture is a thin and lively with a slight bitter metallic finish. Overall this is refreshing, but not very memorable.

(bottle) clear amber colour with a medium tall tan head; aroma first of noble hops, bit skunky, some caramel and bread at the end; balanced flavour with long medium bitter finish; not bad
