Tap at Republic Seven Corners. Half liter glass to further the German Oktoberfest experience on a much smaller scale. Medium orange, copper. No finger head measurement necessary. There is none. Aroma is metallic and kind of offputting. Taste makes up for it slightly pushing its malty, biscuity agenda. It has a certain level of crispness that’s welcomed but unfortunately the taste cannot overcome the aroma. It’s probably one of the better Oktoberfest options in its prime but this one falls short of greatness in the style.

Caramel malt, slightly metallic aroma. Nice caramel appearance. Somewhat bitter neutral malt taste. Not a big fan.

50cl swingtop as fresh as it gets from Germany directly. Far away from Märzen type if you ask me. This is a traditional german lager, made to perfection. It is hoppy, malty , zesty, tangy, fizzy and what not. Superbly balanced ans is a pleasure to dringk. One of my favourite beers from Germany.

On draft. Amber color with little white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is similar. Good Märzen.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color, small white head. Crystal malt aroma. Light body with not much of a flavor and and weak finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of malt, pours an amber colour without much head. Pleasant taste of malt and a hint of sweetness. Watery feel without much of an aftertaste.

Aroma: Lightly toasted bread with a gentle spicy hop character. Appearance: Rich copper pour with a foamy white head that settles into a sticky, solid cap; slow, mesmerizing carbonation makes this a real treat to the eyes. Flavor: Bready malts have that slightly honeyed character that I adore in Pilsner Urquell; spicy hops endure pleasantly into the semi-dry finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: For me, this has the be the best Marzen i’ve experienced. A real treat.

Drinkable but unremarkable dark Oktoberfest brewed for the US market. Unclean hops ruin an otherwise decent affair.

Terra cotta in color, beautiful clarity, no sediment, 1/4" head. Fresh peach scent similar to the scent of a mildly citrusy Sauvignon Blanc. Taste is sweet malt up front with body of caramel, orange peel, & clove, with a nicely hopped finish.
