The aroma of malts with sweets of fruits and some honey. The taste of a little sweet caramel with some fruits with a little bitterness. A little dusty. The aftertaste is bittersweet in a customary way. CanIHave4Beers (862), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2009 This is a fairly quintessential Oktoberfest, perhaps not the greatest example but certinally about as represenative and classic as it gets. Pours clear a deep orangeish red with not a lot of head. Smells roasty and autumnal with a touch of metallic copper. The flavor is sweet, a little nutty with a faint noble hop flavor, largley malty but one of the nicer super malty beers I have had certinally some caramel flavor here. NPRugby11 (82), New York, USA

Deep orange-amber with two fingers of snow white head. Aroma is malty and fruity, with notes of apricot and peach. Medium bodied. Flavour is solid and balanced, with a moderately bitter finish. A well made lager, I was glad to have tried it from a very fresh keg. cyrenaica (440), Milton, Ontario, Canada

I tried this beer on October 14, 2008 at "The Beer Bistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a crystal translucent dark golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma has some grainy malt hints, some hop hints, as well as some fruity hints like apricot. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and was lightly carbonated. The flavour was grainy malt, and was very smooth. This went down well
