Aroma: Lightly toasted bread with a gentle spicy hop character. Appearance: Rich copper pour with a foamy white head that settles into a sticky, solid cap; slow, mesmerizing carbonation makes this a real treat to the eyes. Flavor: Bready malts have that slightly honeyed character that I adore in Pilsner Urquell; spicy hops endure pleasantly into the semi-dry finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: For me, this has the be the best Marzen i’ve experienced. A real treat.

Drinkable but unremarkable dark Oktoberfest brewed for the US market. Unclean hops ruin an otherwise decent affair.

Terra cotta in color, beautiful clarity, no sediment, 1/4" head. Fresh peach scent similar to the scent of a mildly citrusy Sauvignon Blanc. Taste is sweet malt up front with body of caramel, orange peel, & clove, with a nicely hopped finish.

Golden deep orange to light brown translucent color. Thin and bubbly with a wispy head. Light body with malty, caramel taste followed by citrus with light spices and hops. Slightly bitter aftertaste remains.

Standard Oktoberfest, nothing special. Reminiscent of Beck's, only lighter and skunkier.

Really good Oktoberfestbier. The dark amber colour makes this quite different from some of the others available. Very nice and malty, reminds me of James Squire amber but a bit less bitter and a bit more alcoholic.

Transfer from BA review on 9-7-12 - Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance –Served a clear orange amber colored beer with a tiny white head. The head faded quite fast to leave only the tiniest amount of lacing. Smell – The smell was light. It consisted largely of some toasted malt, a bready aroma, and some sweet caramel. Taste – A roasted malt flavor greets the tongue. It begins of a smooth light toast flavor mixed with a hint of breadines and caramel sweetness. Toward the middle the sweetness from the caramel increases which is accompanied by some loss of the roasted flavor. Toward the end however some roasted malt taste comes back, accompanied by some toast flavors and a light citrus hop flavor, which in the end leave a nice light roasted sweetness to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the light to medium side in terms of its thickness and creaminess, with a very average carbonation level. Very good for the style and very easy drinking. Overall – Mostly a pretty good Octoberfest. It has a decent roasted and bready flavor and is quite easy drinking and refreshing. Not a bad choice.

Dark amber color with white medium-vanishing head. Aroma is malty and caramely. Taste is the same as the aroma, with sweet malts, toasted caramel and some toffee hints.
